Men who laugh - or worse, giggle - along with everything they say. Even everyday things that can't possibly be construed as humorous.

Started a new job a couple months ago. Nearly every male there does this, from college-age ones up to managers in their 50s. It's grating, like they're all insecure or neurotic. It's as if I'm surrounded by a horde of nerdy kids who try to make everything a joke so as to avoid getting beaten up for their lunch money.

I had to get a permit from a government department today in order to do a job. It's a very straightforward thing and I've done it before.

Fat bitter old dyke looking cunt says "No, that's not within our policy"

I'm very familiar with the guidelines... and that what I am requesting is well within them.

I argue to the point of attracting the attention of other customers, and eventually reach an inconvenient and expensive (for me, my business and my client's business) compromise.

She gives me some forms to fill out, and right at the top of the first one it clearly states that what I was saying is correct. I fill them out and there's nothing in there relating to the specific conditions that she gave me, so I took them to the desk where a much younger and less fat woman went over them, punched the details into a computer, and gave me exactly what I wanted in the first place.

So even though I got what I was after relatively easily, I still want that old, fat, bitter hag to die. The government makes laws that are well thought out, specific and practical, but then hires her, who thinks it's her place to make her own law just because she enjoys making other people's lives more difficult on a daily basis. That's her pleasure. I bet she goes home and gloats to her cat about it between mouthfuls of lard.

Worse than a worthless life form. People like her are a drain on the human race. If we burned them for energy, the benefits would be twofold.

I hate the new trend of "retro" barbershops that are popping up in affluent neighborhoods so that whitey can feel like he's stepping into a 1950's gangster film.

These places completely fail to capture any of the allure and essence that went along with those classic, rundown spots in NYC.

This reminds me of one particular friend who brings quarters when we play 5 dollar poker night at my place. Un fucking real because he bitches when others do it. I've taken so many quarters off him by now that when he shows up I just gamble with those same quarters.

I hate people who lack the ability to imagine themselves in someone else's place. Examples:

1. People who suck at giving directions. I once had someone give me directions referencing a landmark that *he himself* mentioned was no longer there. IF I'M ASKING DIRECTIONS, IT'S BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW THE AREA.

2. People who can't or won't estimate time. Question: When will you be here? Answer: I'm leaving now. I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE NOW. HOW DOES THAT HELP ME?

3. People who tell stories giving you unnecessary details instead of the big picture. "So then he said: You should come back later. And I said: I can't because I have to do something then. And then he said: Maybe you could cancel that. And I said: I might not be able to." JUST TELL ME HOW IT ENDED.

4. People who don't clear their table when they leave the coffee shop or fast food restaurant. Don't leave your stupid trays, plates or garbage there, making the next customer have to do it or have to wait for the busy staff to get around to it, which may happen infrequently. You're walking right by the garbage can on the way out. I use this one as a test to see who is a lazy/selfish asshole. Clearing your table isn't a cultural norm everywhere so this one is arguably just a pet peeve of mine but IT STILL IRRITATES ME.

These people are either narcissists or never developed a 'theory of mind' (developmental psychology).

There is a silver lining to these places. My barber is the 3rd generation in his family to cut hair in the same location. He was able to sell 2 of his old barber chairs from the 20s to some douche-bag in Manhattan and fund renovations and 4 new, modern chairs.

This is basically anyone who has ever called in to a radio talk show. It is a sophisticated art, and some of them can keep the host from saying, "Caller, do you have a question?" by expertly gauging how impatient people are getting, and then seeming like they are about to ask a question, and then just going back to rambling the moment they feel they are off the hook.
