I got it up to about 40% running a pure schtick profile (just pics of me wearing aviators and a profile where I make myself sound like a huge dick), sending out "you creepin'?" as the opener.

Of the girls that responded, about half were just insulted, but some seemed genuinely intrigued.

Never really bothered to try to get any of those girls to dates though, because I just can't make my IRL identity congruent with the schtick I ran.

I figure there has to be a way to hit a certain middle ground, a slightly funny profile that actually weaves in elements of my real personality. "Nice guy" profiles don't work at all.

Holy shit though, it's fucking brutal on that site.
