Just a simple move, I don't know if it's been posted before but it's something I used to do because I was too shy to talk to girls at one point but is still useful. Get a dirty old cell phone that you don't use, walk by her and time it so that when you drop it, it lands near her. She will sometimes go out of her way to help you pick up the cover and stuff this is a good sign. Now you've just created a "chance" encounter, so you just go from there. If she doesn't help you out then it's not a good sign. Getting the number, just carry a receipt from the store and a pencil. Or just go for a later meeting time.

Why drop a dirty old cellphone(which could be a DLV) if you're going to pull this move at all?

Drop an interesting book instead, or any other item usually piques a woman's curiosity.

Even better- drop a money clip or roll stuffed with $1 bills with a $100 bill wrapped around the outside.

I recall reading about how an old player did this in train stations in the 1940s and claimed it worked like a charm
