So I've read around a little and I've noticed that the general pattern here, no matter what your background is, is to travel to meet girls. Travel as much as possible, for some reason.

Now I am asking this mostly to white guys in the United States.
If you're going to a place with a mostly non-white population, then, quite simply, why?

Aren't there tons of ethnic diversity in America these days, at least for the 18-22 age bracket?

Some guys on this board have told me that gender relations in North America generally are poisoned, that girls are snotty, bitchy etc.
Is that really the case? I mean if you want to snag a cute latina, it's enough to head to Texas, LA or Florida. And you get a girl who knows your language(hopefully!).

I've mentioned before that I am experimenting with online dating sites outside of Sweden because the pool here is very limited. And most dating sites are for payers and those people tend to be 35+, not exactly my demographic(I'm only 20). So I've registered on OKCupid and Plenty of Fish and just experiment. I have zero problems with girls there and I've tinkered a little bit with my profile. Now I get about 1-2 new girls contacting me a day. All you need to do is to log on often as some girls pick the "online today" option. Matchmaking also tends to point to those who logged in latest. I've never had problems with any race and in fact I get contacted more often by non-white girls, despite the fact that the white girls are more numerous. And it tends to be college-educated girls, girls who seem financially independent and express pretty high standards in their profiles, and they look good. And I'm not that good-looking, believe me. Nor do you get the impression that I am particularly rich or well-off. So if I don't struggle with these girls at all, and there's more and more of them in the U.S., why travel abroad to meet them?

But yeah, I don't get it to be frank. I mean I'm talking about places like Puerto Rico, Central and/or South Latin America. Most cities in those countries are ridden with crime and a 'gringo' is an easy target for robberies. Even the natives are whining. Go google 'Argentina(or any other nation, Brazil, Colombia etc)' and 'crime' and look for English posts.
When I googled Argentina I actually found more natives whining about crime than ex-pats(who sort of seemed accepting of it).

And add to that, travel expenses etc. Again, can someone enlighten me a little bit? Sweden is still relatively homogenous except for the capital and a city or two. And the girls who are more exotic-looking are usually Arab girls who are oppressed by their brethren and kept at home. Every month we have reports of girls 'falling of a balcony' because they dared to have a boyfriend or even just chatting with guys online.

So a guy like me, if I want to branch out, I have to get to either Southern Europe or beyond. But if you're in the States and you're white.. why do you have to go abroad? Everything's back home.

Again, input from all guys are welcome but I'd like to hear from white guys in the U.S. specifically, especially those that do travel to non-white countries, such as Latin America.

Not attacking anyone or accusing anyone here(each to their own), but it'd be interesting to read the motivation.

I am not white but i thought this was pretty obvious.

1- Culture - Human beings learn new cultures. A girl moving from Colombia to US and living there for years, wont have the same mentality as a girl that lived all her life in Colombia. These girls once in the US become less warm and their bitch shields go up.

2 - Economic Factor - When we fly to poorer countries, we feel richer than most of locals. The richer you are, the easier your life should be. The economic factor is a huge tool in game. Think about the unemployment rates in those countries and how they are still fighting with basic survival (food, shelter, money for their hair, etc)

3. The exotic factor - When i say exotic factor i am talking everything, not just our skin complexion. Even the way we dress should be considered an exotic factor because we dress different from most of guys in these countries. Many women from these countries enjoy meeting guys from other countries, sometimes not even because we are ''richer'' but because we bring a new flavour, a new perspective in their lives and maybe a new dream. You never heard a swedish women saying that she is fed up of swedish guys? That happens in latin america too.

4 - We actually enjoy travelling - I think many of us here enjoy mixing with new cultures and learning a new language. Plus abroad your sense of freedom becomes greater and we all enjoy a new dish, new music and people who are more friendly.

Resuming, you should go travelling and see for yourself, plus the media exaggerates a lot about the rate of crimes overseas, it aint that bad.

I know you don't intend it, but really, this is borderline insulting. You think guys here are lying about gender relations in America?

Your thesis, in a nutshell, is because the US has every kind of ethnic group in the world, why bother going to the source countries when everything is in your back yard.

Obviously lots of guys get laid in the US, that isn't the issue. It's the effort and skill you need to bring, coupled with the BS you have to put up with for a given type of attractive girl in comparison to what can and does happen in foreign countries.

This is all theoretical talk on your part. Why don't you come down to LA (lulz) or Miami and try and snag a cute Latina and see what happens.

It's like this. Latinas turn in to mega-cunts a short time after they hit the states. Especially Puerto Ricans. The girls in the DR let me get away with almost anything and I make unreasonable demands like "Drive me to the mountains". They don't really want to but usually end up saying Jes Ok and letting it alone where as a girl here would bitch nonstop if she's doing something that makes here unhappy in short the girls here are very self centered for the most part. I live 5 miles away from a uninhabited tropical island that a girl from overseas would love to spend the day at a local girl will be bitching after about an hour and want some restaurant food.

1. Again, why just white guys here? This question is no more relevant to them than it would be to others (ex: Black guy: "why do you travel to Europe to meet girls? Aren't there plenty of white girls in the USA?" ex: Latino: "why do you bother going to Asia and europe for girls? There are tons of asians and whites girls in the USA").

2. The fundamental flaws in this question are as follows: 1) the implicit assumption that white males who go to non-white countries are doing so simply because there are non-whites there and 2) the assumption that non-white girls at home are just like non-white girls elsewhere.

Firstly, yes, they can find some non-whites at home, but the point of their journey isn't simply to meet non-whites for the sake of meeting non-whites. If that were their main aim then yes, staying in the USA would make more sense. The actual point, however, is the massive difference in culture that enables them to generally enjoy more fulfilling relationships with said women than they could at home-this cultural gap is what counts, since it creates fundamentally different experiences at home and abroad.

That leads to the second problem, which is the assumption that non-whites at home are just like those everywhere else. There is, for example, a very large difference between an Afro-Latina living in latin america and a black american girl (or an afro-latina born and raised in the likes of NYC or Miami). Asian-Americans (or Asian-Canadians, for that matter) are also not synonymous with their peers still living in Asia. Latinas in the USA are not synonymous with Latinas everywhere else.

A girl fresh off the boat could be similar to her peers back home, at least for a time. But girls who have been raised here and immersed in American culture (as most non-whites in the USA have been) is going to be quite distinct from her compatriots in the home country. She may not be exactly like a white American girl, but she'll be very different from what she would have been had she grown up at home. Assimilation assures this.

Hold on, let me get this straight.

You haven't met these girls. You haven't dated them or really seen them in person, much less gotten intimate with one. The extent of your experience with them has been through an experimental online dating profile you have set up, a profile through which they have contacted you on occasion.

From this extremely limited experience, you have already drawn a conclusion about the quality of these women, one which you now use to question the validity of the decisions that men who actually interact with these women on a regular, first-person basis have made.

If you had not already established a somewhat respectable history here (some decent posts in the travel forum on Sweden), I'd be quite compelled to peg you a troll on the basis of this post. This is just patently absurd logic.

Did you think that perhaps you could take a second or two to glance over the abundance of reports and documented experiences written by men who have visited these places before you made a conclusion via a google search?

As for the questions about race etc. I made it clear that everyone and anyone can answer. But I was curious about white guys specifically because I wanted to know if they struggled with non-white girls in the U.S. but went to these countries because they found it easier. And my experience was that, at least on the two single biggest dating sites in America, I couldn't really find any discernible racial bias against them.

And then the question became, why go when you have so many in Texas, California or Florida. But it does appear that this isn't a problem about race, rather about gender. See Mechanico's reply below:

I had a recent discussion with a Canadian guy on this board who blamed feminism, which sort of made me wince a little bit because Sweden's much more socialist/feminist than Canada and certainly the U.S. yet I don't really think that gender relations are bad here, that girls are stuck-up or 'megacunts'. Swedish girls are pretty happy-go-lucky. So if it was feminism, wouldn't Swedish girls be the worst?

White guys like myself are dissatisfied with our female counterparts. That's why guys travel to fuck (and in some cases, get hitched).

You are correct that there are cities like L.A. and such with great diversity. Living here, I can tell you that girls coming here from somewhere else are like a ticking time bomb. Shit, some of them already have attitudes by the time they come here. There's a certain mentality about a girl that comes to the states from her home country. Some of them are already gold diggers in the making. I used to go clubbing a lot at this place called Avalon here. On Thursdays it was known for it's high Thai population. There'd be FOBs there straight up asking me if I drove a Mercedez.

Not all girls here are like that, there are certainly plenty of pleasant foreign girls that roll through L.A. My personal preference is for asians though I seem to be a minority on the board. The Latinas here leave something to be desired IMO, but I have yet to spend serious time in Florida.

So again, to reiterate, race has absolutely nothing to do with it. Culture does. This site is about men pursuing feminine women with traditional values. Finding a hot, feminine woman with traditional values, who's also pretty cool and fun to hang out with? Doesn't have a bitchy attitude or think her shit doesn't stink? In the states? Good luck.

Good points made. I've thought about them too, of course.

And yes, being a foreigner can be an asset, at least if you're considered coming from a richer part of the world to a poorer part of the world. It heightens your status. However, the exotic factor should be nuanced.
Think of a poor, third world immigrant from Yemen coming to a place like Colombia. Sure, he is 'exotic' but his low social class is much more detrimental than his 'otherness'. Being foreign isn't always good, it depends in what way.
I think your reply caught the importance of both, so I think point 2 and point 3 can be rolled into one.

Enjoying travelling, for sure. But that can be done with or without trying to pickup random girls in foreign places. That isn't a statement on whether you should travel abroad or not to meet girls. It's merely a confirmation that travel take many shapes and forms.

Okay so if foreign girls coming to the States are golddiggers, then what about a middle class girl, white or not, who was born here? What's the matter with her?

You seem to be more fine with Latinas, though, in terms of attitude. But then again you openly admit that your preference for Asians is among the minority on the board, so perhaps your statement that they 'leave things to be desired' should be viewed in that light instead of the general theme so far that these girls 'get their bitch shields up' once they get to the States(again, why?).

I was not saying that only one race of women did/do this. I was asking why white guys, specifically white guys like you who have access to a lot of ethnic diversity, did travel abroad to places which are occassionally(or even mostly) non-white to get pussy when you have tons of non-white women literally in your backyard.

And your answer to my question is in line with the answers so far I've gathered both pre- and post-thread.

Namely, that whatever it is, once girls(of any race) comes to the States, they get 'infected'(for a lack of a better term) with a culture so many guys on this board are very pissed about.

So I am still seeking a broad and intelligent definition of exactly what this culture is about, how it came about, and what sustains it.

Because it's quite obvious by now that there seems to be a near-unanimous concensus among the guys here that's something's seriously wrong with American girls because everyone is attacking them viciously and praising foreign girls to the heavens.

I've never once travelled to get pussy. I've travelled because traveling is fucking dope.

It's not just turning into a gold digger that's the problem. It's them becoming like nationally born American girls. And what's wrong with american girls (or western hemisphere girls)? It's all about the economic factor AND the quality of girls. USA has super high obesity rates, this takes at least 60% of female population out of the dating pool for any respectable, fit guy. The somewhat attractive girls are now in very high demand, raising their value sky high. Many guys that are determined to get some quality ass are trying quite hard (being fit, game, etc.) and competition is simply higher than in other countries.

Then when you come to some poor 3rd world country, suddenly you are in the top 3% income-wise. Also the population of girls as a whole is most likely simply more attractive. This makes you quite the catch, you might be perceived as ticket out of poverty and in some countries the girls will be literally throwing at you in some cases (Philippines anybody?) In any case, your perceived sexual marketplace value will be a few points higher pretty much by virtue of citizenship.

It's not America, it's the western world. I used to be a menace to society in college by macking on fresh-of-the-boat middle easterners. Vegas is an anomaly, you can't really compare it to the rest of the US.

I hate to say it, but it's hard to take a 300 pound guy seriously when he talks about game, race, etc. His reality is very different from ours.

Not really. We're talking about general culture within and outside nations, that has nothing to do with hair color, length, body size, or the shape of your ear.

Plus, pretty amusing that you had to temp ban me because you were afraid of a reply.

A final note: we're not discussing race. I mentioned race only to eliminate it as a condition of explanation(as I've seen people using it).

The discussion had been pretty good, and the question still remain:
why do girls change so much and is it really that harder?

Another note:
To those that say that girls outside the West, generally, are much easier(say in Latin America) is it because of the culture or because you represent money/status as a Westerner?

I would say not really. Something like 70%+ white

But it guess that depends on how your define "tons"
