Most companies ask a dollarcent per word so that's about 1950 dollars. I admit i didn't try the house mom option so far. I wouldn't have money for it anyway even if it was half price.

An English "friend" who works as an English teacher in Jakarta volunteered to proofread it but he kinda backstabbed me by only reading about 10 pages in two weeks and then I never heard from him again. I guess he's too busy drinking beer at night. What a dick!
Come to think of it, i still have that asshole on my Facebook. Time to unfriend that guy.

Neil For example

Russia (Far East - Vladivostok)

"... but enough to hear that they were exited about me" (it should be exCited)

Japan Niigata

"....I had the bird flu which around at that time". missing word "was".

I only read up to 12% and already found a whole bunch of errors like that. Spelling errors, words missing, double words, grammatical errors.
And thats only the stuff that jumps into my face, im not even looking for errors here.

Its not about the stories or that theyre not interesting. They Are! Thats why i bought the book.

It simply comes off unprofessional with all the errors. it looks like noone ever proofread the book cover to cover before selling it.
Like i said i hope you take it as constructive criticism and improve on that

If you want you can pay me to proof read it for you. I will give you a better price than 1500 dollars.

About the cover i guess that was really a problem with my kindle somehow. I went back all the way and there is really a about me section. Weirdly when i started reading it started straight at chapter one russia. Must be sth about my kindle or whatever so i take that point of critique back.

Well, I'm happy you're liking the stories. If you're reading about Japan now then it will only get better and the stories will be wilder.

I can't do much about the editing now since i have no money. I can just hope Kindle send you the right version because the one before this sucked balls indeed. I'll send you a PM in a minute.

How much can you spend Neil? I can proofread it for a lot cheaper than $1,500.

Neil,

1) I'm glad that you weren't disheartened by my comments and that you're taking action on the spelling/gramatical issue. Cheers to the forum member who has volunteered to help.

2) Regarding the cheapness, I understand your motivation for writing that way. BTW, I keep remembering how when I was in the Netherlands, everybody was joking about how the Dutch are so cheap. I remember paying to the use the bathroom in many places. I was laughing to myself about both these things as I was reading AW80G.

Yes Brian, Argies are the thinnest but the hardest in the Americas. I'm starting to see an obesity-chubiness trend in most of Latin American and even some parts of Asia. That is why my next destination is Eastern Europe.

Yep Argies are indeed the thinnest in south America. Might have to do with the fact that most of them are chain smokers and drink mate (stimulant tea) all day.

l'll have to spend some time in Argentina, because I love that type of women and just have to work extra hard.

I know where ever I've been in the world, as soon as the people get a little money they over eat become fat. I lived in Ukraine and all the upper class women that shopped in the supermarkets for groceries were fat. Not to mention, my GF wanted to eat and eat, and got mad if I told her she would get fat.

The Philippines is on the verge of fat epidemic. If you go to their malls they have 5 times more restaurants than American malls!

P.S. I met a Brazilian girl in the USA visiting her friends. She's 32 and a lawyer back in Sao Paulo. She told me that Brazilian girls love Americans and that I would be treated fabulously by the girls there. I was a little surprised because I hear Brazil has gotten more wealthy and also because this girl was certainly is not a poor Brazilian girl. What are your thoughts on how they treat Americans (or Westerners)?

I'm sorry to hear you're not satisfied but to say I just slapped some blog posts together does not rhyme with the fact that i have worked for months on this project.

I have to tell you, I think it reads really well and to be honest the spelling didn't bother me that much because I'm a bad speller and I know what word you meant.

The book reads a lot better than the blog did. I'm not sure if it is just because it is all in sequence, but I'm guessing that a lot of time was put in to getting the book into this shape. I know this doesn't come natural where something reads this smoothly. Also there seems to be a lot more historical background information, which I like, that I don't remember from the blog.

Recently, I read Paul Theroux's "Ghost Train of the Eastern Star" where he retraces his route of the 25 years earlier of the "Great Railway Bazaar" and I like Neil's book a lot better. Theroux is a little too bitter and he doesn't bang women!

Picked this up a few days ago and am about 20% of the way through it.

I really like it so far. The spelling/grammatical errors are pervasive, but they never cause me to be unsure of the meaning so I really don't mind them too much.

Review to come upon completion!

I wanna know how one gets the funds to travel around the world for three years straight. I would love to be able to do stuff like that, but the financial part seems like a bit of an issue.

Use money you get from initial sales to get it copyedited. You'll have to fix it on the negative reviews will pile up because of it.

Yep, i'm working on it. What surprises me is the amount of reviews i have now on my amazon page. Only three. I know that not everyone is gonna write a review but there should have been more based on the sales.

Maybe they're all still readingConfused

I usually just read it before bed, which doesn't really leave me with as much time as I'd like to get through it. I think I'm almost halfway through.

This is not a negative in any way, but this book is long as fuck. I've been reading it almost every day since getting it last week and I'm still only about 30% through. I'll hook you up with an amazon review based on content too (of which there ism plenty), not spelling errors.

RE: Anyone read Neil Skywalkers new book yet? Around The World in 80 Girls
Pretty sure I've met the same "bit too friendly" nice woman and her gay/bi friend on Jalan Jaksa in Jakarta from your Indonesia stories. She befriended me my first night at Memories a few weeks ago, said I should consider modelling here and that she'd use her connections to hook me up with a modelling agency. Saw her a couple days later and she started getting a bit too close for comfort so I ditched her and went somewhere else. Third time she saw me she kept buying me drinks and would get angry when I tried to decline. Later on, when I'm a bit drunk, she starts telling me about how she recently helped a young French guy get into modelling in Jakarta and how they started a romantic relationship, not so subtly insinuating that she'll help me out if I sleep with her. Uh, no thanks creepy 52 year-old woman. She added me on facebook the first day (I didn't have a phone # yet) and she seems like a 14 year-old girl trapped in an old woman's body with all the stupid shit she constantly posts. I've seen the gay/bi friend a few more times too. He's quite nice, works as a tour guide by day and trolls the bars at night for tourists to show around and hook up with.

I can't have sex with your personality, and I can't put my penis in your college degree, and I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why are you sharing all this information with me?

I'm jealous dude, i want to have a beer at memories too. Not sure if its the same woman though. No way she's in her fifties. Late 30's at most.
The gay dude/tourist guide sounds like the same.

Someone just emailed me that my paperback book is now for sale on the Barnes and Noble website. They give a massive discount so I don''t want the world to find out because I barely make money of a paperback sold through that channel. Of course I rather sell ebooks to maximize my profit but for guys here at the Roosh forum it's ok Grouphug

The guy probably didn't even read the book, that's what is fucked up. What is with people leaving REVIEWS, and just bashing a book they have never read? Stupid fucks.
