Good idea... actually, I never hang out in tourists' cafés. However, I doubt single tourist girls would go there to sit down and a get a coffee - to take pics outside, yes, perhaps a take away coffee but just to sit there when they have 1-3 days? Maybe in the evening, to let their tired legs rest and/or when the weather is crap. Usually, when I pass the Elephant café, it's jammed with Asian tourists.

The strange thing is that I dont ser a pattern at all. Sometines it seems its all a matter of numbers and luck. Some women just respond well and engage, give her number, etc., and other wont even look on your face. And its not a matter of personal beauty: some better looking ones will actually engage, laugh, ask questions, while others, sometimes less good looking, will act rude. Strange.

Funny thing is when I was openes yesterday. However uncomfortable, I must admit I fucked up today. What happened, there were at least two, if not more, girls, who were up my street in terms of looks (7-8) and the way they were dressed. Also, they wouldn't be that difficult to approach. One entered coffee shop, the other was on her phone standing outside on the street.

Quite a few over the weekend, too many to list them all. Was rolling on Sunday with a very competent guy and we did a few 2 sets and it was an interesting to see how he worked it and good learning experience.

Sadly, I got no numbers, making it my longest streak like that. Perhaps because I'm not showing much sexual intent, deviated from a model and were free-styling. Also, I had a number of times just bad luck. A few more interesting ones:

I had a rough week a couple of weeks ago – I was consistently freezing at potential approach opportunities. I don’t suffer from “approach anxiety;” it’s more like my mind just goes blank and I can’t think of absolutely anything to say. I regrouped mentally and decided I needed to hit it hard.

I committed to keeping a log and including a lot of detail. Date and time, what I’m wearing, location, specifics about the girls and as much detail of the interactions as I can remember. I end each one with a Notes/Summary section where I discuss what I did well and what I could’ve done better and should improve upon. I update it as soon as possible after each approach or set of approaches. My next few posts in this thread will be modified from this log. I don’t intend to spam the board with every single one, but I’ll include ones that I think illustrate an important point, highlight a good or bad technique, or relate to an important personal development.

It started with an usual Saturday night.

I got in touch with a buddy of mine that I hadn’t seen for awhile, mostly because I was out of town for 2.5 months. He and one of his friends had been drinking all day and called me over to join them. I said I wanted to go out so even though they were kind of out of it they agreed. I met them at a different person’s place (long story) so they didn’t have any decent clothes. I was dressed decently (long sleeved blue & white checked button-down, dark jeans, nice shoes) and they were dressed like a bum and slob. However my buddy is 6’4, deep voice, good stubble, good hair – overall a pretty quality wingman to have. I’ve always wondered why he isn’t slaying bitches left and right. There could be a lot of reasons so it’s not worth speculating.

I’ve never ever discussed game with my buddy. Not at all. We get to the first bar and very non-chalantly I say that we should be on the lookout for girls. He’s all for it. I say let’s scope the place out and see what the situation is. The best option is 4 girls at a table. They are early 20’s, ratings 4, 4.5, 5, 6.5. They’re drunk and taking selfies – typical behavior. I say I’m going to go over and talk to them.

I come up with something on the spot. I go over to the table and tell the girls I need help. They ask what’s going on. I point to my friends and say that we have a bet and I need them to settle it for us. The bet is we had to guess how the 4 knew each other and whoever was the furthest away needed to buy the others a round. I tell them the options are: 1) work together in HR 2) kickball team 3) sewing/knitting Meetup group.

3 of them like the premise. One (the 4 of course) is offended by the suggestion of sewing/knitting. Not joke offended but really offended. Banter for awhile. Somehow on the topic of sewing I make a remark about them knitting garments for their cats. One asks me how I feel about booties. I like where this is going.

The 6.5 asks for my name, I get the girls names. One says her name is Lynn. I asked her if it was spelled Lin and if she has Chinese heritage (she is blonde). Ha ha. It’s going well, 6.5 is digging it. Suddenly the 4 panics, grabs the 6.5 and storms out saying they have to go. It’s obvious this was only her idea (one says “oh, I didn’t realize we were leaving”) as they all have half finished drinks. They scurried away quickly. The 4 is physically blocking me from the 6.5 (literal cock block!). I could’ve at least gotten her number, but it happened too fast and they escaped.
I told the others not to worry, we played it well but got thwarted by an impenetrable cock-block from the sour unattractive one.

Notes: I think it was pretty cool to just go up to 4 girls and start a conversation. I was pretty funny and charming and I had something good going. I can't think of anything I would've done differently.

2) The friend of friend (slob) left and my buddy and I went to another place to which we arrive around 1AM. This is more of a loud, dark atmosphere (venue for this approach #3).

There are 4 girls sitting near a fake pay phone with smartphone chargers. 5, 6, 6, 7.

I can’t quite remember the opener. Something about my friend’s shitty flip phone and not being able to charge it or something about calling Ghostbusters. We just talked about random shit, what they do etc. I was standing next to the 5 and ended up talking to her the most. Backstreet Boys, One Direction, random nonsense. Leaned against her a bit, a bit of light touching.

Tip: twice this night groups of young girls asked me who I voted for so apparently this is a thing now. I told them that I voted for myself as a write-in. This led to some funny banter both times.

Advice: Young girls love the Spice Girls, Friends, and Sex in the City. It’s not necessary to know anything about these entities aside from who the main characters are. The song Wannabe came on as it often does in places like this. After it was over I asked them to identify as Spice Girls and then I assigned guesses. One (one of the 6s) called herself (6) “Lazy Spice” – I realized that for the future this would be a good jokey technique. Come up with silly adjectives – Lazy Spice, Clumsy Spice, Slutty Spice if you’re wanting to escalate.

Same concept applies to Sex in the City – the 4 characters are typically known by adjectives 2 of which are “The Slutty One” (Samantha) and “The Hot One” (Charlotte). This provides a very easy way to escalate. During a later approach (for a different post) 3 girls asked me to guess their names so I did Phoebe, Monica, and Rachel – I guessed Phoebe for the blonde ditzy one.

I talked about this and that with the other 6 and the 7. They got ready to go. I asked the 6 if she wanted to hang out, she said she was engaged. “To be married?” Yes. Congratulations.

Notes:
• I was leaning forward too much, should have better posture next time.
• My friend was really out of it so that didn’t help much. He apologized to me later and said he’d be better prepared next time (to which I replied “and better dressed.”) I can’t fault him though, I pulled him out of what he had been doing and it all kind of came out of nowhere.
• I also should’ve targeted the one I had done some touching with and escalated more. I doubt it was a sure thing, but appropriate target selection and isolation are key things I need to improve upon.
• I also hung around for too long. I should have left for a bit when things slowed down and come back later.

I considered some closing time Monkey Game but didn’t feel up to it.

Later on (2:30-3AM) I did a couple Gutter Game approaches. The last one I played very very poorly. I don’t want to go into detail due to excessive lameness but I know what I did wrong so I won’t make those mistakes again.

I didn’t score but it was a really fun night. I was so pumped up from adrenaline that I couldn’t fall asleep until 6AM. My friend said he really enjoyed it too and that he wanted to do it again soon. The idea of him being my wingman and not the other way around is ludicrous but I'll roll with it. It'll be like the legally blind leading the actually blind but we'll learn together through experience.

I’m a couple of weeks behind, so I’ll catch up as time allows.

Wearing: Black short sleeve button down over white tee, light jeans, black sneakers.

1) Girl at bus stop – 7, young (~20 years old), 9:30AM.
It had just been raining really hard and I was standing in the bus shelter. The girl comes in just as the rain is letting up.

I say “too bad you got to the shelter just as the rain let up.”
She thought it was funny. I asked her if she had been out in the rain a few minutes ago when it was pouring and she said no. I asked her what she was up to and she said she was going home to take a nap, I said "me too!" I told her I had just gotten out of an 8 AM meeting and I had stayed up so late over the weekend that I was still kind of out of it.

Then my bus came. It kind of threw me off for some reason, so I just said nice to meet you and got on.

Notes/Summary – I thought it was all good except for the lack of closing. I should’ve just waited for the next bus. I was pretty much half asleep at the time so a good lesson is to get a good night's sleep or at least snap out of a stupor if I'm going to approach.

2) I'm walking up the street a few hours later and I feel the presence of a dog behind me. I turn around to see it's being walked by a nice looking girl, 6.5. It’s a tiny dog (5-10 lbs max) and I ask her if he’s going to bite my ankle. She says she just got him, it was a foster dog and I reminded the dog of someone. I asked if that was reminded in a good way or bad. She gave some non sequitir answer. I said “cute doggy” and she said he smelled really bad – I said she should’ve just left him out when it was pouring earlier to wash him off, she said that was before she got him. She abruptly said goodbye and power walked off.

Notes/Summary: approaching while both parties are mobile is a bit of a challenge. I need to improve at just getting a girl to stop. "hey can we talk for a bit?" "are you in a hurry?" I know there's info on this in the forum so I'll go over some of that. With that said, I could tell she was not at all into it.


The last one was at the grocery store. The girl's lower half was 10/10 but the face was a 5 at best, she had something weird going on with her teeth. We made eye contact as I was reaching to grab an avocado. I had to come up with something to say on the spot so I said "99 cents, can't be beat!" and tossed it up like a baseball. It was obviously not the smoothest, but she smiled and said "I know right!" or something to that effect. A minute or two later I was waiting for one of the employees to bring me something and the girl was putting a lot of tomatoes in a bag. I asked her what she was making and she told me tomato sauce. I said I should’ve been able to guess that. I asked her what else was going in it, and she listed a bunch of stuff while she started to walk away. I said “that’s why I just buy a jar.” She laughed and she seemed like she was in a hurry.

Notes/Summary: it was good to approach at the grocery store. I go there every few days and there are always many attractive girls so it's important to feel comfortable operating there. It was good that I came up with some opener even if it was dumb because it's better than nothing and it got a conversation started. However, it was the same problem as the previous one I described: getting the girl to stand still for a second so I could ask her out.

Overall theme for the day is Always Be Closin, and it's clear that it's something I need to work on.

Maybe so, but I think of anxiety as a physical state of discomfort and tension which I experience mostly in my stomach or jaw. It can be accompanied by increased heart rate and faster breathing. I don't feel any physiological correlate with my "freeze" state (that I'm aware of), but since the result is functionally the same in terms of approaching I suppose it may not be necessary to draw the distinction.

So I'm still new to approaching, and I'm in the middle of doing my first 100 approaches. I've started a month ago, and I have 60 approaches so far, although it actually should be more, cause today I approached around 10-15 girls, but the number of approaches I do are getting so big that I can't remember every approach, so I only write down the ones that are noteworthy and look like I can learn something from it. So I planned to wait with posting here until I did my first 100 approaches. But today 2 things happened.

First I approached 2 girls. I mainly do Roosh's Pet Shop opener from Day Bang, pretty much as a default. I was in a mall, and maybe some mall opener would've been better, but this way I approach way more women faster because I can pull the Pet Shop opener pretty much anywhere and I have it ready the moment I see a girl. One of the girls was blonde and cute, the other one was brunette and kinda ok. They were helpful, but I wasn't really able to build attraction. Especially the blonde girl was really helpful though, and while the other one was looking for a shop on her phone, she told me she actually had a cat she was trying to find someone for to give away to. Now I don't want a cat, obviously, but she offered to take my phone number so we could arrange something. Now she has my number, but there was really no IOI on her side. I joked a bit, she laughed, but the conversation ended shortly after I gave her my number and she probably has no idea what I really wanted, cause I didn't get into asking her any personal questions.

My question now is, is there anything I can do to still turn this around, something that doesn't involve me actually taking the cat? What would you do? I'm willing to leave this be, I'm just wondering if there is any way I could continue to game this girl when she only expects me to want to get a cat. She's also from a different town, so I don't want to actually drive there just to get a look at the cat.

The second one was me approaching 2 Muslim girls, Moroccan, as it turned out. This happened in Germany and they both spoke perfect German. They both wore headscarfs, but had very tight clothes on. Tight skirts that showed off their gorgeous asses. One of the girls was ok-looking, the other one was really beautiful, and she also had the better ass. An ass I wanted to sink my face into. After about 5 minutes the ok-looking girl said they needed to leave cause they needed to catch their train. Like Roosh said in Day Bang, my feet were in cement. I wasn't gonna move. I told the prettier girl that I thought she was really nice and that she could give me her number. I don't remember the exact words I used. But she started to laugh, not in a way that felt like she was making fun of me, more in an "I'm embarrassed" kind of way. She looked to her friend and said something, that I couldn't quite make out. I just thought she was probably concerned about what she or others might think of her. I pulled out my phone, opened a new entry and held it out towards her. She didn't really react, she didn't look at me, just nervously laughing at her friend. This went on for about 30 seconds. At this point I felt a foreign guy, possibly Turkish and/or Muslim, looking over from a table behind the girls. I noticed him looking at me with a grim face 3 times. It didn't bother me that someone was watching me, but I imagined this guy thinking "what is he doing with our Muslim women?" and thought if I continued I might risk a fight. Maybe that was unreasonable, but in that moment, I pulled back my phone, put it in my pocket and said "Look if you're uncomfortable with this, you don't have to do this." The ok-looking girl said that they weren't uncomfortable, just that they had to go. Yet they still stood there. Shortly after that I just said bye and the girls walked away.

Now I'm not the best-looking guy. I don't wanna make this sound like an excuse, but the guy they talked to before me looked a lot better than me. I'm still at 130 kg being 171 cm. So I can totally accept if they just weren't into me. But I've been wondering, if they weren't that into me, why didn't they just walk away? Maybe they were more religious than I thought, though their skirts screamed "slut" to me. Even after I asked the girl for her number, even after they said they had to leave twice, they still didn't move. So whether I've done anything wrong or not, and I could've done better, but what I'm really wondering is, should I have continued trying? Or was it that they were just too shy to tell me to fuck off and walk away? Are they afraid of being judged by Muslim men? Was the one girl afraid of being judged by the other? Had they maybe not been as DTF as I assumed? But it really looked like they got that other guy's number and it looked like they approached him. I have no idea what it was, just generally wondering, have I given up too early? What would you have done and what experiences have you made with Muslim women, in non-Muslim countries of course, especially the ones that wear like a headscarf, but still dress sexy.

Not too eventful a weekend in terms of chasing younger, hotter skirt. Did two only. Met with a fellow, experienced wingman but due to various factors we did little approaching. Or, rather, I did little due to an incident.

Namely, I was banned from a major retail/food chain store due to "harassment." Apparently, I was CCTVed multiple time talking to women and making unwelcomed come-ons, thus making them feel uncomfortable and infringing with customers doing their shopping peacefully. I'll make a separate post on that.

Shaken but not stirred, after re-grouping, thinking things through, an hour or so later entered a major bookstore, and soon saw a fit blonde, in black leather jacket, tight jeans exposing sexy ass, leather boots and whitish top exposing her midriff showing slender waist. This girl's out fit was screaming "talk to me, big boy!"

So I did. Though due to the foregoing incident, I was off, and came across rather as a nice guy (despite leather jacket and black trousers/shoes). The opener was simple, the girl had 3 books in her hands in "Smart thinking" section so rolled with that and asked if she thought these books would make her a smarter thinker. She seemed curious, I didn't qualify her match, wasn't too aggressive due to the incident, didn't touch her, then she weave into the conversation the fact she was meeting a boyfriend in an hour. Girl was Scottish, solid 7, and as I mentioned many times, I get no traction from Scottish lassies. Her boyfriend didn't sound too genuine, so ignored, and then again, suggested to meet for drinks, though she said she could only as friends. I told her I didn't look for a friend. And that was that. Consulting with my wingman, I should've taken the number anyway. Perhaps her meeting me as "friends" would've been her plausible deniability if we ended fucking. It would be solely on me. Not that I would mind it.

Hours later saw, in a park, a girl walking, then sitting down on a bench. Truth be told, I saw her some 30 minutes earlier a few streets up but from a distance, didn't see the face, though her ass and waist were fantastic but couldn't be bothered to run. So I see her, go into the alley, and walk past her as she stares blankly into space in front of her with a rather distressed look on her face. This put me off but I saw middle aged couple taking pics of each other just at the next bench, so I decided to help them out and take a few pics of them together. In reality, what I wanted is to have a few more looks at the girl to make sure, I wouldn't provoke some angry reaction due to her distressed facial appearance. Then, ironically, the middle aged woman engaged me in a lengthy conversation including her and her husbands travels, what their sons were up, and so forth.

In the meantime the girl put her headphones on but finally I saw her glancing at me and her eyes lingered just a few milliseconds too long for a person who's under real stress. Finally, the couple shook my hand and left. I kinda stood around thinking how to open as I lost a bit of my upbeat mood and she sported headphones but said "fuck it" and went for it. Surprisingly, she seemed quite happy to have someone to talk to her and lit up when I opened and put her big headphones away immediately. A Russian girl, a student, but in a neighbouring city and waiting for her male friend, though her phone died. Face was OK but honestly, altogether the girl would be a low 7 at best. The chat was rather dull, decided no to follow up due to her logistics and the fact she was about to meet a friend. Alas, he arrived soon later and off she went.

And this sums up my streak of 20 approaches without getting a single number (the last one didn't count, though). Tough game, but I know it'll be over soon.

Was in a museum, very busy but it doesn't mean hot young lassies strut about. Was with my wing, we had little time as he had to go to catch the train and I was meeting another guy (yes, I'm meeting guys these days only) later on. Still, there was just so-so Japanese girl in front of one of the exhibitions so chatted her up for shit and giggles. She hooked immediately, was very proactive, curious, asked questions, played with her hair - I started to think this was a strong yes girl. Found out she was until the next day in town, though her friend would be arriving from London (both girls lived in the UK for their degrees) in a couple hours. Called my wing over, we played the heaven/hell routine and my wingman came to conclusion we could threesome her, if it weren't the case he had to catch the train. Still, took her number, suggested beers with her and her friend later tonight (I'd bring my another wingman). Sent out a feeler, never heard back.

Went into a supermarket to grab a sandwich and looked around if there were some girls who'd be bored out of their mind and in need of seduction. Alas, there was one, who was wearing all black. She had an amazing, well-proportioned ballerina body (she told me she didnn't do any sports). To top it off, she had cute face, long dark hair, and Spanish look (which I told her). Saw her as she was in an isle changing price stickers and appeared to be a supervisor in training. I approached indirect, then told her I didn't care about her not wearing a typical store outfit but I liked her look. Asked for her age, 19yo, told her she was too young for me, however I'm not judgemental. Couldn't run my typical game, as she was an employee, a security guard was walking around and she was at work (hence had less time as well to do my spiel). Made her laugh, though she wasn't giving me anything. Decided to tell her straight I wanted to take her out, she told me she had a boyfriend of 3 years and they were living together. Still pushed, told her boyfriends come and go, I'll text her and she can decide to reply or not. She seem to toy with this idea, even licked her lips but said she didn't have her phone on her and didn't remember her number. And that was that.

Yesterday I was at the local Trader Joe's, when I catch sight of a tall, statuesque gal with black curls flowing over denim-jacketted shoulders. What I locked onto first was her full ass, wide hips, and narrow waist, in that order. Really, such is my absolute prime physical attribute I hone in on. And all of this was wrapped in a tight, olive green skirt ending at just above the knee. To say this was the best looking woman in a TJ's no less, says a bit.

So, in my usual procedure, I side up to her as she browses. An older gal for sure, and all made up and fancied. After a nagging hesitation I start up a chat based on the items in that part of the aisle. She seemed a hair receptive, but the virtual absence of eye-contact proved disconcerting. Naturally, my chat is soon running on fumes, ultimately stalling, as if to see if she's gonna make a sizable contribution to the exchange. Even as I do manage to chirp out a few more lines, see turns away and busies herself further down the aisle.

I'm figuring she's having none of it, and so I start to drift back in the opposite direction. Lame. Now, at this point I realize that, as opposed to +90% of these types of approaches, she actually buzzes around the same aisle. In virtually all other instances, the girl will practically run off to another aisle upon my approach. So, I'm wondering. I should just ask her out, blitz-fire. This chick is of the caliber where everyone else in the store has to take a glance. That shit. And those I have make the play. I do end up weakening and migrate to another aisle, keeping her in sight.

She reappears at another aisle, where I try to revive the interaction, asking her if she's seen a certain item. To this she responds how I should just go ask a clerk. That one I've experienced a number of times, and I interpret it as the end of the chat. Y'know, maybe she lingered around for the attention, given again, how she had to be at least 40, and I've always been notoriously younger-looking, so maybe she was digging the validation (snort).

And finally, through blind chance, we met once more at the check out. Two separate, but adjacent lines, so I gaze on to soak my memory in the sight of her perfect ass.

At least I tried, but I need to do better than this. Also, my appearance was less than stellar, given having arrived there right after the job. Ohhh, well.

Interesting. I'd be curious to know more about this and strategies for dealing with it - cognitive, something physical like deep breathing, or both.

Skip forward about two weeks from my last post. Friday night and I was feeling pretty lethargic and not really up to it. I had one of my freezes earlier when I was walking around campus and I was a bit bummed out because the girl gave me a nice sexy smile. I told myself to just go out, have one drink somewhere, and do one approach and then see how I felt afterwards.

I walked past the area with all the bars to the clubby area where the nightlife ends in my town. One hybrid bar/club that caters to young girls is usually packed (people lined up down the block) but it seemed relatively empty so I figured I'd give it a go.

1) I noticed 3 girls together after I walked in. 6 (probably 5.5 without make up), 7, and very fat (doesn't get a rating). Later on I saw them sitting at a table outside. Two of them had really bright blue drinks. I walked over and sat down at the 4th empty seat and said “that is the bluest drink I’ve ever seen, it looks like the meth from Breaking Bad.” They laughed. I asked them what it was, the third girl had something different so I asked her about hers, and blah blah blah it was on.

We talked a lot. Despite my perceived lethargy I was absolutely on, I made them laugh a lot. Conversation covered a lot of topics, we had a lot of silly guessing games, jokes about names. When things started to slow down a bit I said I was going to get a drink and I'd see them later.

Came back later, I was vibing pretty well with the 7 and ended up mostly talking to her, occasionally looking at and talking to the others. The fatty was pretty engaging but the 6 (cute blonde) was harder to talk to and clearly less intelligent than the others. However in the dynamic that developed, she ended up being the target of my negs which she handled very favorably. Then they all stood up.

Oh my! The 7 was actually quite oddly-proportioned and a bit chubby while the blonde was wearing a tiny dress that barely went below her (nice) ass.

I eventually got the 7 alone told her I wanted to hang out later. She said she needed to go home with fatty because she had the only key. I said we’d figure something out and she said she’d have another drink and we’ll see. Then I played jenga with them during which I should have done some more touching. They went to dance, I said I’d catch up with her later.

Later I saw them at the bar and told her I wanted to hang out with her tonight. She said no, I asked when she was moving out of town, she said next week so I said let’s meet up before then. She said she can’t. I asked "what do you mean you can’t?" and she just said sorry and ran away with the others.

Notes/Summary: Some good and bad here.

Good - Just sitting down like it was a table with friends was really good and something I need to keep doing. I was on conversation-wise.

Bad - I probably should’ve tried to isolate earlier but circumstances were what they were. Also probably should’ve moved on after initial rejection. Isolation in these situations is difficult (I didn’t see any girls leave with guys FWIW - in a bar filled with scantily dressed and ostensibly DTF girls). Also there’s no reason for me not to have switched to the slutty blonde one. At the time I thought I had somehow already “committed myself” to the other one which is obviously stupid. In hindsight all the attention I gave to the one made for a better set up to go for the blonde.

2) 2 girls out of a group of 13 – the one I spoke to was 6.5

This happened after I left the original group of 3 for the first time. There were a bunch of girls wearing shirts that said “Champagne Vibes.” I asked one girl what it meant - I said I knew what the individual words meant but not when they were together like that. She pointed to a girl with a white shirt saying “Bride Vibes.” The bride to be was wearing a large plastic joke diamond ring so I said “Wow, he must have gone to Jared!” which they found funny. Talked to my girl about the wedding and such and such. Found out there were 13 chicks there and 6 were bridesmaids. It seemed to be going well, but her friend grabbed her and pulled her towards the floor. She said it was nice meeting me and I got her name.

Notes/Summary: I think I played it pretty well. Not sure if I could’ve done anything differently – like try to grab her back? We hadn’t spoken for more than a couple minutes and I haven't reached that level of boldness yet.

3) 3 girls sitting outside - 7 (Asian), 5.5 (unknown ethnicity), 5 (black)
I walked by and saw one reaching out and awkwardly taking a selfie. I asked if they wanted me to take one. The 7 said yes. I told them I was used to this because I’m a fashion photographer in LA. I've been trying some different silly things in these situations: telling them to strike poses, pretending to steal the phone, saying I was going to go through their texts.

I made some remark about how going through texts is an easier way to get to know someone as opposed to relying on my psychic powers. It's dumb but it got an actual conversation going. I ended up mostly talking to the 7 and a bit to 5.5 and their level of personability scaled with their attractiveness. I talked to the 7 mostly about her work which is fairly interesting as she lives in Dubai (didn't seem like the porta-potty type but you never know I guess). She ended up telling me about her favorite uncle so I rolled with that because it's personal/emotional content. She actually believed my bit about being a fashion photographer so I just went along with it and kept a straight face even though I was cracking up inside.

Then they said they were going to get gyros and got up abruptly – I asked her if she wanted to hang out afterwards but she was mostly gone by then said no.

Notes/Summary: Good enough opener. My camera routine needs refinement but I’m trying different things. It wasn’t a great physical set up. Again isolation was a barrier and this seems to be coming up a lot.

Then it was closing time so I stood around outside the entrance and watched people attempt to run Monkey and Gutter Game. One fellow came up to a girl and his opener was "what's your zip code?" delivered very sternly. Needless to say that interaction didn't last very long. At least I'm not the worst at pick up in my town. As I walked home I would sometimes stop for a bit and observe people interacting as everything was closing at that point. I saw some weird shit but it's not worth going into here.

So I didn't score, but overall it was pretty useful for me and I consider it time well spent. Definitely better than sitting alone at home.

Two approaches from today...walking around a busy street on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Walk around for a few minutes and then see a nice blonde is workout pants, go up and ask her about workout. She doesn't know what to say and slowly starts walking away and I let her go.Guess she couldn't handle the social pressure lmao.

Went to a nearby (2 hour drive) town which is larger than the town I live in. Upon arrival I opened a girl standing at a map. Turned out she had just moved into the town. But my approach was week and didn't work.

Stupid me.

I then went to another bar. An 8-ish came stood next to me (I was sitting) to order a drink. I opened by commenting on the venue and we talked a bit. She asked me where I was from and I whispered a joke in her ear. (Some cat and string theory here I've noticed that if I completely refuse to answer this or other questions the girl may be annoyed.) Did a little kino too. Then a fat friend of her came in. They were a group visiting from another state and the two went to their group. A little later we made eye contact from across the room but since I wasn't well versed in the art of isolation, I did nothing.

From this trip I realized how living even in a decent sized city can be good for game.
