Texting is easy and effective.

Calling is also the right play in many situations but this attitude some of you have of "if she won't pick up the phone to answer I don't want to stick my dick in her anyway", is quite frankly, fucking retarded.

Who cares if you call or use text, as long as you're getting laid, what's the point? I use text, my notch count isn't anywhere close to a guy like the gmanifesto, but I set up pretty much all my first dates through text and have had good results.

A year ago, Roosh said he thinks text is a better overall route, is he a crazy, pussy, beta because he likes to text?

It seems like most girls are more likely to respond to a first text then phone call, most girls don't answer the phone unless they know who it is. Sure you can leave a message, but to them it's more pressure to call a guy back then it is to send a text.

Talking on the phone is more personal, so I can see how that might be better for comfort, but I feel like I am able to "build attraction" through text. It allows for a lot of playful back and forth banter, and I have more time to think about what I'm going to write, so I can be more witty, clever, and funny.

I'll admit that my phone game isn't 100, so I do have a weakness there that can be improved upon, but in general I feel like phone game lends itself to a wider margin of error.

Anyways, if phone game works for you and you think it's better or more alpha, than cool, whatever works for you. However, I like text game better and will continue to stick with it. I'll call a chick and talk to her on the phone after we've boned and gotten to know each other better, till then I keep it light, text, banter, and keep it logistical till I set up the date and get the bang.

My phone game is tight.

I use both to devastating effect.

Choose the tool to fit the situation, as neither is ideal 100% of the time.

-dont be overly concerned with punctuation, spelling, and capitalization
-make each text you send progressively shorter and shorter until you can get down to "cool", "sure", and "k"
-or do like G says and only text for logistics

Honestly, I'm finding these days that, much like a few forum members said, sometimes the best text is no text at all. Run hamster run!
