Thing is, the decent talent in DC is constantly changing venues. A few of the bars mentioned earlier like Saint Ex, CC, Jack Rose etc have all changed for the worse. Because DC is being gentrified, there are new bars and clubs being opened in once sketchy and undesired areas. These once shady, now trendy areas attracts some good talent. I work in Shaw, and am surprised to see some decent talent for DC standards. Petworth is another neighborhood on the rise, so expect more talent to come to the surface.

For anyone looking for fine sistas, I suggest checking out Mood Lounge in Shaw. I've been there a few times (near where I work), and ave been the only white guy there. Quality wise, you'll find 6-8s on any given Fri-Sat night.

I have a good friend who went to school in DC and still had many close friends in the area, a few who I'd met in passing before, so I was pretty much immediately plugged into a scene of maybe 30-40 rotating people who'd all lived in DC 5+ years or so. The main guy I hung around with, though never outwardly beta, was boring, unattractive, and unstylish, but he probably went through about 7 or 8 different girls in the 2 months I was there, entirely through social circle. To be fair, maybe 2 of them were 7s, the rest below. Another 2 that I saw were pretty disgusting. He was the kind of guy that was enthusiastic about sex with just about anyone, a quality I envy.

In 2 months, I had 5 bangs, 3 being girls I was introduced to. Got a bj from another girl I had approached, tried to follow up and she flaked. I'd say they were all 6-6.5 except for one 8 I picked up at velvet lounge who was just visiting from nyc for the weekend. A handful of numbers/makeouts...I'm typically only interested in same night sex and rarely follow up on girls I only makeout with.

If you were to say that these are average numbers, I wouldn't disagree. All I was trying to say in the original post is that, when critiquing DC, it seems like people on the board pick what are far away the absolute worst examples of the city, when there are clearly better options. Don't get me wrong, it is profoundly inferior to NYC, but it's not as bad as it's made out to be.

places i thought were decent, at least insofar as they were not suffocatingly cheesy and mostly frequented by acceptably normal, down to earth chicks (by american standards)...velvet lounge, dodge city, jack rose, dc9, american ice company, marvin (on mondays), 18th street lounge (very hit or miss...but when a hit this was probably the most solid place), napoleon (on the occasions there were parties there), st. ex, wonderland (only went once, had an ok time). If you can tolerate house music, U hall can also be fun. Again, none of these places are spectacular, and if you literally can't get hard if a girl isn't a sparkling pearl of virginal femininity in 6 inch heels, you may have just as little fun at these places. All I'm saying is that the ratios, number of fatties (not a big issue overall), and personalities of the girls were all tolerable...and solid 2-3 points more enjoyable than these club photos would suggest.

Good info on some spots to hit. I'm going to need to check some of them out. I can only speak on marvin and u street music hall myself. I think they both are hit on miss. Marvin on monday seems to a night for the blacks. I'm black and have no problem with it; but it might be some guys on there that do. I been there a bunch of times on the weekend which is where it's more mixed crowed but mainly white people. The first time I went there was on a friday. I was talking to this hot ass black and asian chick who was visiting out of town for work with her co-workers. She had the two other woman with her and a guy who was the ultimate drink buyer beta-orbiter around them. He brought all the ladies drink and gave me the wtf looki when I was talking to them; but he didn't say shit. Needless to say, the girl was fluke as shit. There was this white girl in there though who was dancing with people and she seemed a little drunk. She grabbed my friend and started dancing with him. My friend a black guy who is a little chubby. Then the chick started dancing with this tall black, bald head dude and next thing you know...she was walking out with him. I was like FUCK!!! I wish I was dancing with her. I would had tried to go home with that pussy. lol The chick was like a 6 and the black and asian chick was an 8. By the way, she was from california but I don't remember which part. The cali girl was hotter but that plain 6 seemed down the fuck. She wasn't faking like that cali chick.

The main reason I went because this past may I met this ukranian chick who has been living here for years(she is 23, she look vicious as fuck...i give her a 9...that rare shit in dc...lol...i got her number but she was fluke as shit by the way.) said that her and her friend was disappointed because it was pussy fest and the guys were standing around scared to approach girls and shit. It was the night the dj team Noveau Riche was there. They have a residency there every month and they also have a huge following. But anyway, I told my cousin who I was with, that I wish we had went there instead of marvin because marvin was a sausagefest that night. Me and my cousin went last month when Noveau Riche came again. The ration was really good. The girls were pretty cool. One started to talk to me who was with her friend; she was off bullshit or maybe it was me. lol She was 6. Anyway, there was this girl who was dancing up next to me when Nicki Minaj came on. I tried to holla at her but she said she was with her boyfriend who was this guy she pointed to. She was a 8. She was cute as fuck. She was really cool but I think she just wanted to dance and that was it. She kept apologizing and saying she had a boyfriend. I wanted to say SHUT THE FUCK UP BITCH...I GOT YOU. lmao She was bullshitting too because the dude she pointed to told me that they were just friends after she left me for her friend after we finished dancing.

That night was cool. The girls there seem to like to party. I went the next weekend on saturday and wish I hadn't went. The ratio wasn't that bad but seemed to be more dudes but not a complete sausagefest. The girls was faking like shit. The typical bitch shit. I guess this place is really hit or miss. It's real low key. It's a dj club in a basement. The music is mainly techno and electronica. The night I went when Noveau Riche was there. They played techno and a good amount of rap mixed it. It was pretty even. The second night I went. It was straight up techno. I'm not into it; but I can tolerate it if the girls are chill, open, and approachable. And that night they were night. I think I might go again on saturday July 14th when Noveau Riche comes again. It should be a vaginafest(that's what the ukranian chick called it) again. It was when I went the night Noveau Riche came. You guys maybe should check them out that night. That is my 2 cents. I know I was long-winded as fuck though. lol
