Second best street opener?
Hi everyone,

As long as one has read the "Day Bang" and tried the "pet store opener" on the street, you should know it did work and works pretty well!! (I tried several times and did get some attention, but I am still not really good at rumbling...have to work harder on it...Undecided)

I walk to work every morning (around 7:00AM) because I want to get more chances to try the street approach. It turns out there are lots of girls who also walk to work NOT IN A RUSH!! Obviously lots of them just walk along the street with their coffe and enjoy (?) this short period of time before work. And they all dress pretty (I like girls dress like an office lady Blush)

But here is the question: What is the 2nd best opener in this situation? I cannot approach them to ask where the pet store is. It is 7:00 in the morning!! I tried several openers before such as asking where the coffee shop is, but it doesn't work very well. (because the Starbucks just around the cornerDodgy)

Any suggestions are very helpful and welcome. Thanks in advance!

BTW, thanks a lot Roosh!

Thanks! No...I've never tried that.......

I guess it is the same as "excuse me", isn't it? After that, what I can talk to her? I am actually looking for some appropriate subjects I can work on in the early morning (pet store is not so good in this case, I guess). I think of this over and over again but cannot figure it out....That's why I came here seeking for help.

Thanks again!!

RE: Second best street opener?
The idea behind openers is they shouldn't be so scripted. The English language is vast and varied...instead of taking Roosh's openers verbatim, go for Seinfeld openers. Observational humor and such. Notice anything about her or your environment and just speak up. I've started running openers on chicks w dogs (there are hundreds of them where I live) by asking if they got them from a shelter or from a pet store. Ramble on to how much I miss having a dog when I lived in my hometown, talk about my hometown, talk about dogs, talk about taking dogs on road trips, talk about places I've gone on road trips, etc etc et

"hey where did you get that.... Belt/purse/wallet/drink in hand/camera/backpack/necklace"
(response) if she says "I don't know"
"oh it looks like blank and reminds me of blank blank store in blank city in blank area. You sure you didn't get it at blank store I am trying to find one very similar for my cousin. Is it very good quality/fabric/... Blah blah"
If she says blank store.
"oh that place is super high end/classy/tame/artsy (whatever sounds good to you) I want to get something very similar for my cousin, she wants one just like that. Is it very ......

I'm a stronger proponent of its not what you say but how you say it.
