In honor of father's day, what alpha advice did you receive from your dad (or did you give your son)?

Inspired by this conversation with my parents today (over skype)

Mom: do you eat out a lot over there (Denmark)?
Me: Not really. It's expensive. I try to cook, but I'm pretty busy.
Dad: cLearning, why don't you just get Danish girls to cook for you.
Mom (to Dad): You mean teach him how to cook.
Dad (sarcastic): yeah...that's exactly what I meant..

The most important advice my father gave me, regarding game, was that if a chick decides she doesn't want to fuck me, that's her loss, not mine.

Dad also taught me about numbers game, told me to be irrationally self-confident, and said that if I want to bang a chick twice, make sure I dick her really good the first time around.

A few hours ago I gave him a bottle of Glenmorangie Lasanta single-malt Scotch as a Father's Day gift. Small tribute for the things he's taught me.

I'm a literal bastard (born from a non-marital relationship that didn't last), raised by a single mother, so I didn't exactly get a lot of help from that source.

First and foremost not to pedestalize girls; they are no more incorruptible than you or I. I've met several guys who would've benefitted a lot from internalizing this.

My Dad is a wonderful man, very nice guy...but sadly, this meant he got put through the juicer of divorce by my mother, so he had little to impart in the way of 'Alpha' advice; my dad was born in 1945, you didn't need to be alpha when he was growing up, when he was growing up the women decided to change the rules from a functional 'Provide a nice living for me and any future children we have' to a more crooked and illogical 'I can make my own money, but my money is my money and the money you make is our money, and you better stay in shape and always be on, because if you aren't I will ruin you!'

But...he taught me to be patient, to not be sloppy because I want to make it happen, but to wait for the ideal situation in which it will happen, you know?

Alpha advice I'd give to my son? At the end of the day, never forget that you're better than them.

In my first year of college, I remember talking to my biologocal father and my stepdad abut girls.

My real father told me that I should treat girls with respect. And if I find one that's special I should provide for her. My step-father on the other hand said for me to treat them like shit. And don't tell everyone you fucked a girl after you got your nut. It makes you less likely to fuck her again.

And after my first lay, stepdad's advice comes into play alot more. Him and I dont get along at times, but at least he steered me on a player path.

I respect my real dad as well, but he fell in the pitfall most men fall into when in a baby momma crisis. Paying child support for 18 years sucks and only being able to see me periodically.

It's whatev though. This holiday makes me respect them both for raising a lil player.

I was raised by my mom, but my dad was an old school biker. Real biker, who built his Harley and basically lived on it, not someone who bought one and rode it on the weekends. 6 kids, 6 different women. Got to see him every few months and were really close. Never gave me much girl advice for some reason. However, he did give me really good advice aside from girls. Mainly you never lie, cheat or steal. Meaning cheat other people, not talking about relationships. Liars, thieves and snitches were the lower form of life to my dad.

Don't talk to the police, but don't disrespect them. He did enough time in jail to learn this lesson the hard way.

Never accept disrespect. If someone disrespects you, fuck them up. Loyalty and respect were probably the two most important things to my dad.

Your *REAL* friends are your brothers and you do anything you can to help them. That said, you have few real friends. Lot's of acquaintances, but few good enough to be considered brothers.

And my favorite, "Your brother isn't always right, but he's always your brother." You back them even when they are wrong. If you feel they were wrong, you handle that with them privately AFTER you have backed their play.

My dad looked a lot like Sam Elliot in Road House. Similar personalities, but my dad wasn't as level headed.

For young guys out there the best lesson I learned from the pops was "just because you are older doesn't mean you know what you are talking about". But the old adage "respect your elders" will always be around. So find out whatever they believe and simply agree with them by aligning with their belief system and act as a complete slave, then if there is a single slip up, you murder them and take over their work getting them fired in the process. As always the most dangerous person in the room is the one with nothing to lose... Which is why saving $$$ is king.

Oh also always keep the business cards of people who quit and get fired. You can now steal all their email information, photos, and create pseudo gmail accounts if needed.

I met my dad just when I turned 18 and I was legally able to sue him for child support (Mommy too proud to do it herself).

After court room:

"Dad": Are you ok?

Me: Never been better.

"Dad" : is there anything you want from me?

Me: Yes, next time you play around with women, take responsibility for your actions.

Some of the best advice my dad ever gave me was:

"Son, dont listen to SHIT people say. Cause in reality, most people are either lying or have no idea what the fuck they are talking about. Go to the source. Ask questions. Use your own common sense. Dont ever let anybody just tell you something. Find out for yourself."

My dad is far from perfect but his mindset is "alpha" as hell.

My Dad has been almost absurdly successful in business and came from nothing, the advice he gave me about being successful in business is this, "Find out what other successful people are doing and copy them. But do it better than they are."

He was also locked up for a couple of years when he was 17 for dealing drugs, (his aunt snitched him out because she had gotten busted, she is persona non-grata in our family and I have yet to meet her) and there was overcrowding in the T.D.C. at the time. He told me on his first day they put him in a cell with only two bunks and when he got in there there was a guy sitting on each one of them. He told me that he looked at both of them and said, "I don't know about either of you, but I'm not sleeping on the floor." And just started swinging. He said he got his ass kicked pretty hard but never had anyone else ever mess with him for the next two years. And he is still good friends with one of the guys, (a huge black dude), who I just met for the first time about 3 months ago.

I remember once when I was having problems with a kid at school my Dad told me, "If anyone ever messes with you. Kick their ass or go down trying. Even if you get your ass kicked in front of everyone, they will know that you're not afraid to stand up for yourself and will be less likely to jack with you in the future." My Mom was horrified and told me not to fight and to get the teacher but my Dad is 100% correct. I got lucky once and beat the shit out of one of the toughest dudes in the school, in front of the entire school, so I never had to worry about anyone messing with me after that. I was never bullied, but I do know that bullies hate it when people fight back and won't mess with people that do.
