That would make Vietnam the best place for Americans in the world to live in a place longer than 90 days without having to do a lot of border runs. Vietnam is also pretty cheap too and the food is good (and there's a lot of international cuisine).

I looked into it Baatum, it seems like they offer a 1 year multiple entry visa for $20. But I think it is to save you money on paying for new 3 month ones. They all mention if you get the 6 month or 1 year, you are required to leave and re-enter every 3 months...

I guess it is a safer and cheaper way to do a visa run without the scrutinization from immigration.

Hey guys I will go to Hanoi and Saigon in october for a couple of weeks. In terms of online dating (for fast lays) which are the best options? Something is weird with tinder, getting 100 or so matches in the first couple of days but then nothing. I don't know if it is some algorithm change that prevents your profile being shown. Are there any good apps/websites for Vietnam?

When you first join Tinder, you get a "newbie boost" meaning you get more expoure for a period of time. After that period lapses, your matches will be back to a trickle (5> a day). You can delete your account and make it again in order to gain the boost again

Tinder is the best for fast lays here. Many women there understand what Tinder is all about (less naive girls). Despite this, Tinder isn't where the talent is in my view. For that, Vietnamcupid seems to be the best. Badoo has a lot of girls but again not much talent and a lot of naive girls too, but it's worth using just because of the sheer amount of girls using it.

^^^ Most of the girls in Saigon realize that the purpose of Tinder is to hookup. Some of the naive ones think it's for finding friends or they want to find someone to practice English with. But, there aren't that many girls like that on Tinder in Saigon, and it's easy enough to filter them out.

Spent 8 days there, met up with a different girl each night from tinder.

First three days, three bangs in a row. Then 4 dates/nights that went nowhere. Got lazy, over-confident and did not filter enough. They were looking for friends / something long term or didnt look like pics

Now I am getting pumped for Vietnam. Gonna spend maybe 3-4 days in Hanoi and 3-4 in Saigon (rest of time traveling and seeing cool things - can't make an expensive 2 week trip all about pussy .

Good to hear about tinder. So best thing to do really is make a new account 2-3 days before flying and filter hard I guess. Plan is to do what i did (and worked) in Mexico and invite girls directly to my apartment. Haven't had a lay all year so can't wait to change that!

Yea if you're passing through, tinder is more than enough.
With filters, expect girls to be 1-2 points lower than their pics. Though I've experienced the reverse.

You're not going to find the hottest Saigonese girls though on tinder. It's mainly 5-6s with a sprinkling of 7s.

Dick move: look out your window when she arrives and if she looks ghastly pretend you aren't home.

I'd say I've had the best luck doing my tinder boosts at 2:33PM on Wednesdays. If you do after 3:00PM then all the top talent will be taken. I've experimented with 2:27PM and it was 18.4% less fruitful. YMMV.

I live in HCMC.

Its easy to meet girls here in bars and on tinder.

I prefer western women so tinder is a hassle getting passed all the Asian women without killing your ratings because of their algorithm.

Lush is probably best for non-pros despite the fact that there are pros there. Tuesday nights are ladies' night and the ratios are good. 100k entry for that. Glow is also good on the weekend. Glow's arrangement is also conductive for pick up. Sohy was decent the one time I went there, but it was some sort of corporate event so my experience was likely skewed. Apocalypse Now has arguably the highest amount of pros but in my opinion check it out anyway. Hell, check 'em all out if you got the time.

I'll write an updated Saigon datasheet on here soon. I still haven't been to all the spots in town yet, so when I Do, I'll begin writing it. It'll be very comprehensive so might take a while.

Did you pipeline at all with these girls prior to arriving?

On my last trip there I didn't do any pipelining. I got heaps of matches but it was very difficult to arrange a date because a lot of the girls were legitimately busy.

The calendar says Halloween falls on a Wednesday. As someone that's never been to Vietnam, would you know if Halloween celebrations and festivities at the clubs would be on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before Halloween, or the Friday, Saturday, Sunday after Halloween?

@asdfk Yeah most of them are like that. Glow and Lush are round bars with minimal seating meaning it's easy to approach as everyone's standing. Also, dancefloors aren't really a thing here for some reason.

Does anyone have any experience renting service apartments long term like for at least a few months? In a perfect world, I would select a normal apartment building without a security guard, receptionist, etc, however theft is rampant here from what I hear and I don't want my stuff stolen nor do I want to have a plate suddenly show up at my front door one door if I have another girl over.

This brings me to my current dilemma, either get a service apartment where I know they will have a guard out front reducing the chance of thief and unsuspecting guests, however I lose a lot of privacy and may potentially be cockblocked or should I risk it and get a place without any guards out front having a bit more peace of mind that theft will be greatly reduced.

How much of a cockblock did you guys find it? I think I will most likely go with a service apartment as the bigger luxury apartments like masteri, vinhomes central park, etc are quite pricey and abit out of the way to d1.
