The girlfriend replied "Well, that's not my fault."

It might hurt people's feelings, but that is the way it is. I am not saying that the better looking/more famous/richer guy will ALWAYS be able to pull EVERY girl from a less attractive/unknown/poorer guy regardless of how much game the lesser guy has, but it does matter.

Part of what makes THIS FORUM great is that on some level we understand this and EXPLOIT IT. This is why so many guys travel (particularly to developing nations). As an American (or Brit, Canadian, etc) you get a boost in status/money relative to the locals in these countries.

If you don't believe me, read some of the earliest Colombia threads, then read some of the most recent one's. Pay special attention to MiXX's evaluation of Colombia back in 2000 with how it is now. Did MiXX's game get worse 10 years later? Did he become less alpha? No. Our status as American's has lowered, thus it is harder to pull. Status DOES matter. The same thing happens with money.

Rather than ignoring these issues and simply say "game trumps everything, every time", lets take this information and figure out how we can use it to our advantage.

In my opinion fame is a HUGE factor in game and this has been proven to me few times. People say that i look a lot like Anderson from Manchester United to the point that when i am in Brazil, i get approached and asked if i am Anderson from Manchester. In my personal opinion, I wouldn't want fame at all unless it was the kind derived from say a Nobel Prize for instance. Hell yeah I'll take being in that club. Damn exclusive one at that. I would spend the prize money and live comfortably although I wouldn't revel or flaunt it like I had something to prove.

However we want to spin it, it is necessary to hold in awe those who take us one step closer to truth and have scaled intellectual heights that no man or woman has ever done before.

Celebrities, movie starts, and all that like, they can keep their fame. What have they done for human civilization besides "culture"(I'd argue modern day "culture" is about to file for chapter 11 even though it's finances remain strong). I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy(fame in the celebrity sense). If (insanely improbable) I were to win a Nobel Prize in Physics (just as an example) I would feel it incumbent upon myself to accept the award and do everything I could to bring awareness to and enhance enthusiasm for the field, not only by coming up with ground-breaking work no one had ever done or dreamed of before, but by passing on an entrepreneurial spirit that strives for truth, whether it be game, physics, biology, cosmology, or women's studies.(hahaha)

I just can't get over the fact that these celebs and athletes knew at least to some degree what they were getting into. It is ridiculous that they have to deal with that bullshit but at the same time I don't feel any sympathy for them given the lifestyle they live. I was in a club in London where a lot of footballers were hanging out . It was absolutely unreal! The footballers were in the VIP area and there were about 20 hot girls hanging around by the roped off area just hoping to get invited in to meet them. Every now and then a guy that was with the footballers would go grab a girl that had been pointed out and bring her in where she would then drink champagne and end up getting off with a player,it was like running a train. Yeah, the whole fame thing is weird. My funniest experiences with it have been when folk (always women) mistake me for some random NFL player. The gleam in their eye when they asked quickly turned into disappointment when I said no. While I would still prefer to be rich and anonymous, I do often regret not playing football when I was younger and developing my physical attributes. Who knows what would have happened. The pussy would have been nice, though.

The game dogma that supports all this is that STATUS=BEHAVIOR IN THE MOMENT. Bullshit.

Status is a socially constructed position based on a set of relationships, access to resources, and distribution channels. Cold approaching, in and of itself, is not a high status behavior, and many times it conveys a low status, particularly when executed alone at a club.

Attraction is mostly to the external, not internal. It's not about some "personal quality" that attracts the women to these men. It's the fact that men have this position in society that gives them celebrity status, or a dominant position, such as that of professor.

For a lot of guys they are in their own little fantasy where they indulge constantly in the "cult of game".

Celebrities have it better. Not only do they get way more access to much better pussy, they can get much more of it with a tenth of the effort a normal guy would have to put in to get less than a tenth of the results. Fact.

And yes, in certain foreign countries, if you fit into the "sexy stereotype" that 3rd world girl has of white men, or black men, or whatever she has seen in movies and music videos, that's probably the single biggest help to getting in between her legs other than direct fame, or even good game.

The thing is, this isn't "game denialism", this is just the way the world works. You know what happens when you buy too much into "game theory"? Has anybody just straight up lied about being famous? I feel like it may be fairly easy to convince people you are a bench warmer on a pro team (maybe baseball if you're not jacked).

Unlike looks, which are unchangeable, I consider fame to be part of game. It's golden game. There are many ways to achieve it. Even marginal fame within a small social circle can make things a lot easier.

I'm an average joe, by no means a great chef or on the top of my game, but I've done a few special events that were covered by some citywide press and bloggers. I cook, so it's easy enough for me to get some cheap press if I go out for a cooking demonstration, cooking competition, or if I get a somewhat high profile job. Restaurants and hotels these days either have their own PR or subcontract, and that's always one of the perks of a job is getting some free PR, so long as I don't fuck anything up too bad.

Whatever your hobby or profession is, I'd say just figure out a way to get yourself out in the public forum, either through demos, competitions, magazine articles, etc.

MMA fighter in the local/regional circuit. Band member in a popular local band. Popular local DJ. Owning your own trendy art gallery/tattoo studio/somethin like this and having events there. Local clothing line that is popular within a niche. Owning a local skateboard/surfing/snowboard/biking/etc. store and having some events/parties. Local television host/personality. Local drug dealer.

For me? I'm going to start my own custom raw denim jeans line here in Bangkok and open a small boutique in the trendy Thong Lor area and have parties and events there and at local clubs to promote my brand. My friend's girlfriend is a b-rate television actress here in Bangkok so she will round me up some models to outfit in my custom denim and be at the parties. I'll be the man in a small niche that attracts rich Thai 18-30 year olds because custom raw denim is expensive.*
