Well, it happened again this morning. At around 8am I was laying in my room with a girl getting me primed up and my screen door slams and bam bam bam on my front door. My dog is going nuts and I'm naked. I walk out to the kitchen widow and see some dude in my yard so I say What the fuck is it at 8? He said can I turn your water off for a couple hours? I'm updating the meters. I said after I go to work you can. I don't know. I think I'm going to get some steel and start welding up a gate and fence.

On a serious note, do you belong to a HOA? All this talk about pulling guns and setting up spike strips could create more trouble and drama than you started out with. Imagine some crazy red neck runs over your spike strip. You think he'll just call a tow truck and forget about it? Maybe even a lawyer who feels like you owe him for the car and even more for "emotional damages". Or you pull a shotgun on a crazy chick who isn't afraid to go to the cops and say you falsely imprisoned her.

I'm all for protecting your property, but do it in a smart way, especially since you have a child.

The best thing to do imo is if someone parks on your property, call up a tow truck company and get their shit towed. After a while, even dumb fucks will get the picture.

HOA = home owners association. They enforce various rules and regulations for homes in a particular sub division. Can be very anal and particular (e.g. what colors you can paint, what you can build). I don't think I've ever heard of them in Canada.

Can't keep a truck or boat in your driveway. Have to keep your garbage cans inside etc. Sucks and people can still bang on your door.

Anyway..I'm not a paranoid person. I know the score and can predict the future so I try to cut quick. Then add that I'm a very protective parent. I can toy around in a bar fight but here I feel like I have to destroy due to my childs safety.
