Tattoos were good for two things. Showing somebody in a subculture like the military or counter-culture like a gang or a
motorcycle clubs and showing who the easy women were.With something like 65+ percent of women in their twenties and thirties having the damn things,
the slut signifying thing is not near where it use to be. The only time it seems to signify the really easy sex right now is if they have several large, disfiguring tattoos.

It stinks. This is the worst trend of the decade.

Edit: People are right in the thread to note that women have herd mentality/morality (Nietzsche) and never stop being mentally about 15 years old (Schopenhauer).
Once there is some sort of critical mass, half of the women will do something. 10 percent of the herd leader celebrities and friends have tattoos? I need a tattoo!
Bam. It went from 2 percent to 10 percent to herd mentality 50 percent in about 20 years. Tattoos seem about 25 times as common on women as they were 25
years ago, in my experience. What kind of twisted stampede was this? They might as well get Cow tattoos with Moo in Old English.

The people who traditionally had them were almost always associated with masculine culture, sub-culture and counter culture. Marines, metalheads, motorcycle gangs and stuff like that. Men should get tattoos, not women. This is like giving macho, manly-man's stuff to women.

When I see a woman with tattoos it doesn't seem right. It is like watching her walk around all day with a cigar and scotch. When did school teachers think they could get tattoos?

My grandfather fought in WW1 and had tattoos... and in the photos of him they look bad-ass.

I don't mind women having tattoos, but would I want marriage/a long-term relationship with a tattooed woman? Definitely no to exposed tattoos, and probably no to hidden ones. I have no problem fucking women with tattoos though - if I'm fucking a tattooed woman doggy-style I'd love withdrawing from her and cumming all over her tramp stamp.

Generally, tattoos are a deal breaker for me. I find them masculine.

I like tattoos for men though, but don't want them myself which is why I had mine removed. As a warning for people that might be in two minds about geting tattooed, removal is a long process, and the end result will not be as good as a lot of before and after shots make it look. I've had around 24 sessions of laser removal, and there is still a little bit of ink left, and in the places where the ink has completely gone, the skin is a slightly different colour due to de-pigmentation (which gets worse if I get a tan). I've been told that the skin will re-pigment, but I'm not convinced. It certainly won't look as if I never had a tattoo anyway.

This doesn't surprise me, chicks all over the Rust-Belt are covering themselves in stupid shit. I honestly don't mind the tramp-stamp or a small tattoo on the ankle but when they're getting entire half-sleeves they lose at least 4/5 points on the attractiveness scale.

Tattoos look great on supple skin. The second it starts to age, watch out.
