I lived in Sweden, have many Nordic friends, and have interacted with Nordic girls both in and out of Sweden. I have to preface that individual experiences can be highly subjective...so please take my observations for what they are worth:

1) The Scandinavian-Nordic breed of feminism is distinctively different from the highly toxic N.American breed. There is higher emphasis on gender equality instead of the man-hating, guilt-tripping, entitled, rape-epidemic rhetoric that one would find in the US for example. There are radical breeds of feminism in Sweden but that is only a very small minority.

2) In N.America, a feminist will literally break your balls but in the Nordics, a feminist will pay for herself on dates and will do so pleasantly. They take real pride in being able to take care of themselves through education and work. They value self-sufficiency and eschew the entitlement mind-set that you find in the US for example.

3) Foreigners usually get in conflict with Nordic women when they start talking about taboo subjects such as biological gender differences, traditional gender roles, etc...which everyone there shuns away from. It's a cultural thing across the region. Just like in every individual country, there are unique cultural taboos that foreigners have to steer away from. As long as you don't talk about these subjects, girls will not bring these topics up and their propensity to avoid any type of social conflict will assure that there would be very little argument. I personally avoid these topics all together whether I am with guys or girls.

4) I find Nordic women to be in general very attractive, intelligent, emotionally well-adjusted, humble, and friendly. Of course you do get the bitches sometimes like anywhere else but I had a good time living in Sweden and I wouldn't mind going to a city like Helsinki for a while as Finnish girls seem to have great looks & awesome personalities.

5) For those with the bankroll, decent looks & game, I would highly recommend spending time in cities like Gothenburg or Helsinki. Stockholm as well if you are able to develop a social circle there via studies or work. Lund & Uppsala are both great student cities if you can study in a Masters program there. Finland also has free Masters education so that is a definite plus. You'll have an absolute blast. If you do it right, you can have a great time there.

6) Finally Nordic people can be really genuine and you'll have real good friendships with the guys that you bond with.

Many people have misconceptions about Scandinavia-Nordics and I also saw some posts on this forum that are misleading. I think it's one of those polarizing places where one really has to live there for a while to get a realistic impression of the region & the people. I liked the place a lot.

The main issue I have with the Nordics is you have to scavenge for pussy. Nightlife is strictly a Fri/Sat night affair. Daygame is more challenging/unfriendly than the west. Online options are few & far between.

When you actually do stumble upon an attractive girl in the nordic countries though, you can strike gold. The nordic high end is ridiculously high.

I've short termed 5 Swedish cities;

#1. Lund is absolute tops (during the school year). It has a huge student population full of stunners. Lots of solo targets.

#2. Uppsala is similar to Lund, but a distant second. There aren't as many girls, and not as hot. Centralized indoor shopping malls are convenient for cold weather game.

#3. Gothenburg is respectable. Fri/sat nightlife is good, and you don't need a student ID to go out like you do it Uppsala/Lund. But good luck the rest of the week trying to daygame blonde puppy packs 3-6 girls deep.

Helsinki compares in some ways, but has a colder vibe. Gothenburg is younger, and more yuppie/snob.

#4. Stockholm is big, impersonal, and even more hit & miss than Gotenburg. You need inside intel on the right spots, and when. Approachable daygame targets are rare as rocking horse shit.

#5. As for Malmo, I found it to be a poosy wasteland 90% of the time. Copenhagen, 1 hour train ride away, is better in every category.

It's a small city, only ~60,000 people, however it has 3 universities so I'm hoping there is some kind of mid-week night life.

I've been lurking here for a few months and thought I'd share my impressions after a recent trip to Helsinki (where I stayed for 5 days) and Tallinn.

-Where to stay: the recommendation to stay at Kamppi is on point as pretty much all nightlife spots would be within a walking distance, as well as many restaurants and some sightseeing spots. The university area (Helsingin Yliopisto) is another good place stay, and if you don't mind a bit more walking, even going as south as Ullanlinna is not an unreasonable option. Decent studio or a small two rooms apartment can be had for ~60 euro a day on Airbnb.

-The city didn't seem very busy. Not that many people in the streets, except perhaps for the central station, Kamppi metro station area and Etelaesplanadi street area where there was some tourist traffic. My experience was possibly influenced by a relatively cold June week (around 14 degrees celsius average daily high and two rainy days).

-Girls: Quite a lot of good looking ones. I'd say at least 50% of the native Finnish girls are blonde. I thought that there were more overweight girls than in most European cities I've been to but the one who are not are usually at least decent looking. You can also spot quite a few girls with purple hair and/or dreadlocks but most of these are fat or unsightly anyhow.
Most girls seem to shy away of eye contact but the few I did approach were nice and attentive. I didn't approach a lot as I was lacking motivation and still find myself chickening out quite often.

-Tinder: A lot of girls are using Tinder. I pipelined a few days before my flight and got about 35 6+ matches. Most of them were 7+ with a few 8 and 9s. In Tel Aviv I had similar results after swiping for two months, and with less 8+ matches. Many girls who were responsive at first didn't want to meet once they learned I'm only staying for a few days. One of them even said she is really tempted to meet but she knows that if it goes well she'll be too sad when I'm gone... I did meet up with two girls, one of which (a 7) took me to a nice forested bay near her house where we made out. Didn't get the bang though due to logistical difficulties from her side.

-Nightlife: Not really my thing but I went to the Milliklubi on Saturday for the sake of it. It was quite packed but with big groups and too many dicks on the dance floor (probably ~65% men). Many were there to celebrate their high school graduation so it was pretty cliquey. I opened three sets and nothing hooked.
I also visited Namu on a Wednesday. The place was nearly empty but I thought the layout is not bad for picking up girls.
*Note: if you don't have a European ID, bring your passport when going to clubs. I was able to get in without but was "warned" to bring it next time.


-Helsinki vs Tallinn: I assume some people might have this dilemma. I would definitely pick the latter if I had to choose one. It's a cheaper city (example of price differences: a roast beef footlong in Subway was 9.50 euros in Helsinki and 5.70 in Tallinn) and a more beautiful one. The girls are probably on par with Helsinki, with a lower obesity rate. I also had more success with them than with their Finnish counterparts.

^ Helsinki to Tallinn is 2 hours by boat (as far as I recall) so it's really not a big deal to travel between the two. Just enjoy both For night game aiming for fast lays definitely Helsinki. For slower game, more quality, it's Tallinn.

Staying in Tallinn during weekdays and hopping to Helsinki on the weekends can be a good way to go about it.
