I've lived in St Pete for 6 years now, currently living in the heart of downtown St Pete. I find overall its the best scene. Let me know if you have any questions about the area.

I am in South Tampa now. Downtown St. Pete is nice but I find more opportunities to network in South Tampa. I've been doing some Meetup.com events and almost all of them are in Tampa.

I am updating my resume and putting in an order for business cards. Time to get on that networking grind.

No, not yet. I've been a bit lazy on the job hunt though.

As of now I am signing up for full time when I get it and working. I was hit with a lot of expenses so I have to step up to the plate to cover them.

I made business cards and became a member of a large networking group here in Tampa. I am slowly inching out to meet people and get connections.

As far as gaming it is mostly inner game. I have been working out at the gym for a couple months and been working through some self help material.The gym must be shaping me up because two random women asked me if I worked out as I was running errands. I am not big but toned. Either way it is starting to pay off. A paradigm shift is occurring.

I noticed that a lot of my issues with women are psychological. I interpret many different situations with women in the negative. I've done A LOT of journal writing to try and figure out what really scares me, what coping mechanisms have become automatic, what genuine strengths I have, and what patterns I repeat.

I see a lot of potential in Tampa but you have to get out there and experience it. I ordered day bang and plan on reading it next month.

I've been working the meet up.com front a bit. I met one girl via meetup.com but she wasn't my type. Things fizzled out when I mentioned I was sick of assertive white women being all over television (she is a white girl, very career oriented, favorite t.v. show is Homeland which stars an assertive white woman taking on the world, wants to live in Washington D.C., yeah..you can't make this shit up).

One day at a time brother...

Well, I just got my job with the Hillsborough County public school system. I start training to be a substitute teacher January 29th. A small step forward but it is a step forward.

Looking forward to doing something with my labor besides delivering pizzas.

Always good to hear about a brethren stepping up their game, despite what the pornos may have you believe delivering pizzas is not very playerific.

Now you gots to combine some game in there with your substituting. I am not advising you hit on your students (unless Florida's legal age is 16 ).... Bomb those schools with some hit and run game, try your best to scope out the hottest teachers in each school you substitute at and hit them with your game, as long as you are tactful and smart, you may be able to get some numbers without jeprodizing your substitute work.

Yeah, I can see working the social circle, after work, game with teachers. I can see some relationships developing using that angle. There are a lot of good looking women who teach in Tampa Bay.

Of course, now that teaching will give me more free time (8-3 schedule five days a week, weekends off, versus 40+ hours a week, no weekends, up early to do food [email protected] Johns), I can start branching out and meeting women.

I'm still in inner game mode for the rest of the year, but by January I should be good to start at-least approaching.

It was a crash landing when I descended on Tampa, some rough starts, lots of nonsense, blah blah blah, but now I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

And that motivates me.

Thanks for the inspiring words and advice OG. Maybe these female Florida teachers will start fucking me rather than then their students once. -_-
