This article got me thinking what the social,cultural and political outlook of the US will be in about 50 years time ,with it's changing demographics.

Calling the UK the mother country with a special relationship even now is a joke.
I guess considering residents of the UK are not able to even apply for the Green card lottery where someone from Asia/India/Africa can sums up the future.

With international jet travel and Skype are the huge amounts of
"tribal "immigration even going to become Americans ;or just enjoy the privilege of the passport while retaining allegiance to their mother country ,even down the generations.
It's not like in the old days when you got off the boat and you lost contact and became an American,or at least your kids did....these days,like in the UK so many are expected to fly "home" ,marry and bring another section of the family over.
Having said that the USA does assimilate much better having much more experience of mass immigration.

Any doom mongers among you think it'll all fall apart? How many more ethnic lobbies are you going to be dealing with in DC in the next couple of decades?

Most modern 'nations' and ethnic nations are made up from the merger of previous tribes and peoples. Modern nation states are usually based on more than one tribe previously settling in an area.

For example the modern Anglo Saxon is a mixture of Angles, Saxons, Normans, Romans, Jutes, and possibly trickles of other tribes who migrated to the Islands of Britannia in between. Modern Europe is a mishmash of migration from as far as India and North Africa. And all the cultures each peoples brought with them.

Let's take a look at the modern Mestizo. A mixture of nordic germanic from the tribes who retook Spain during the expulsion of the Moors. Moors, who are were ethnically a multiracial army that was made up of West Africans, Arabs, Tuaregs, and Berbers. And Native indigenous Americans. They also have in some way or another. pieces of these past cultures in their modern practices.

Cultures, tribes, and ethnicities stack upon each other with each generation. As technology makes the world smaller, they stack faster and further than before (Chinese Angolan immigrants, Indo-Caribbeans, etc)

America's "anglo culture" has not disappeared, and never will. It will become a piece within something greater. Neither will "white people" ever disappear.

The article is more mass media ignorance, feeding mostly ignorant and short sighted masses.


Modern "western" civilization is very heavily influenced by the Greek intellectual class who fled the fall of Greece during the Ottoman occupation in the 15th century. Europe at the time was heavily controlled by church and the greek intellectuals were a centrifugal force in the European renaissance. Greece declined economically under Turkish rule and never recovered. OTOH the Nordic European rule by itself was a pretty grim affair. Western civilization is not 'white civilization' it's really Hellenic ideals infused with local cultures.

The world could use more Hellenic ideals. America will be fine as it has strong core culture of democracy that is hard to remove once it has taken root. Heavy sectarianism doesn't take root under democratic regimes. It's usually a hallmark of fascist, or 'bloodline' ran empires and states.

My guess is when all the whites have fled, and there are no more evil white males to blame everything on, the various ethnic groups will just set upon each other. You already see it with hispanic and black gangs fighting over territory.
