We're frequently required to attend sexual harassment briefings. The implied message to a female soldier is that she can act however she likes and if a male soldier looks at her the wrong way or says something she thinks is offensive, she can easily get him hemmed up. A sexual harassment complaint brought against a male soldier of any rank is the kiss of death even if it is unfounded. I've seen it happen.

This atmosphere allows female soldiers soldiers to be lazy and get kid glove treatment by their fellow soldiers and superiors.

The generals in command will, by and large, not object to the placement of women in combat. As anyone will tell you, advancing through the ranks to a flag-level (i.e. general) officer and beyond is about politics more than anything else. The entire upper echelon of the military is comprised of people who are experts at playing the tune that Washington wants to hear. These people are not likely to suddenly stop playing along, when they've been doing that for as long as they can remember. With a political climate avowedly determined to elevate feminism and homosexuality above having a cohesive, effective military, it is suicide for a general to voice any criticism of the feminization of the military.

In a sense, the generals are just pawns in a greater scheme of cultural decay. Our country is so full of ****ing pussies that when a Marine general admits that he likes "brawling" with the enemy, people get mad and demand his resignation.

From what I understand, women in the army function pretty much like women in any other sphere of private employment.

They ask for a pass on any jobs that are difficult, dirty or dangerous, and men give them that pass because the consequences of their inevitable failure are too high to bear simply to make a point.

Soldiers are supposed to be like cogs in the machine. For the most part, you should be able to slot one in for another. Obviously some are better than others, but all soldiers in the unit theoretically can do the basic job at hand.

If men are steel cogs, women are more like plastic. Oh, they work okay as long as the machine is just idling along and there's no load. As soon as the machine needs to start running fast and hard, the plastic cogs get shredded and things start falling apart. There are also rare brass cogs that are very capable women, but brass only lasts so long before work hardening and splintering. You might miss your pretty brass cog, but you're better off replacing it with a steel one once it breaks.



...Eh, whatever. All these chicks will just get pregnant before deployment and stay on rear D. The units will shuffle squads and platoons around and be a company light per battalion on deployment. Better to be undermanned from the start than have chicks around fucking everything up for the men to fix, bringing all their drama along, and going home two months into the tour because they got pregnant in Kuwait on the way over.

The good news is when deployment is coming up, the girls will all be desperate to get impregnated. So it's easy pickings for the men in the unit, because those chicks will fuck a couple guys a day until their pregnancy tests give them the right answer. I knew girls who were sleeping around with everyone they could with the blessings of their husbands to avoid going to Iraq in 2006.

Lol reminds me of the old days, I remember going through basic training and unfortunately my buddy turned out to be a woman. Fecking special treatment all the time, on the obstacle course, in the field, in the classroom, just everywhere. When we had our final exercise of basic training she was on her period, moody as fuck, emotional, wasn't eating nor drinking properly and this made her even more fucking weak. Made her some hot chocolate to try and make her feel better and get some calories in her, ducking bitch didn't like it and threw it away. Imagine that it takes quite a bit of effort when your in the field to make hot chocolate + I've could've been having a nice little nap instead of making that hot chocolate. Shortly after we had our final march back to the base for graduation, after throwing away my hot chocolate she's still expecting me to carry half of her fucking gear, and there's really no way around it as you are expected to do everything as a group and not as an individual.

There was a 4 week interval between basic and infantry course, we spend our time with the unit we were going to be placed in to prepare yourself for infantry school. Infantry course started, she quit the course within 4 hours as the new sgt didn't really appreciate her special treatment mindset.

Many of the shitty, lazy, useless guys left in basic already, those guys leaving didn't make much difference to the atmosphere in the platoon, after this girl left the whole platoon changed (she was the only girl), much better atmosphere, everyone was getting along and joking around, when she was still there a couple of big arguments happened every week, this stopped immediately after she left.

Woman don't belong in combat roles, it just doesn't fucking work, period.

I've been accused of being a white knight for saying this - putting women anywhere near the front line is a sign of a loosing society.

If you have women in your army it's a sign that you're not actually at war and you're not fighting to win.

When my brother finished basic training, he told us (his family) about a time when the girls in their unit started to cry to get out of a punishment they deserved (no base privileges for failing to keep their barracks clean).

The folks in charge relented. Obviously, they must've told the men with glee, otherwise my brother wouldn't have heard about it.
