RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious
Had a bit of a scare with my no-porn commitment tonight. While we were at Golden Chen’s, a co-worker was showing everyone a video of a girl being fisted in the ass that someone in this group chat he's in had sent.. He showed it to me and I glimpsed at it, thinking I would be more amused then aroused, since the context of the video was a bunch of rambunctious guys sending outrageous stuff to each other.
Turned out that the girl receiving the fisting was Proxy Paige, a porn star I was familiar with due to seeing her on one of those compilation videos of porn stars saying outrageous things on eFukt. The brief viewing of the video ended up triggering memories of my old porn habit and I found myself feeling the urge to Google her. I ended up doing so but didn’t click to any of the links to her videos. However, I did look at this page that had a biography of her, thinking it would be okay since it wasn’t a porn video but the page with the interview had some nude pictures of her. Thankfully, I managed to grab a hold of myself, working to banish the images and desires that had cropped up in my mind before things really spiraled out of control. In the end, I didn’t look up any of her videos nor did I masturbate. I have to admit; those thoughts are still in the back of mind but I’m confident that I have them under lock and key so I should be fine through the night.
Positive aspect of this experience is I got to see how many people commonly relapse - the rationalizing, the half steps you take towards relapsing, thinking it’s okay since you’re just taking a peek and you’re not viewing full out hardcore material and then before you know it, you’re sitting in your bedroom wiping yourself off with a tissue - without actually relapsing myself. I'd hate to sound like one of those old middle aged finger wagging school marms, but incidents like this really do make me realize how porn-fied our culture is and how it's being constantly pushed on us. I'm pretty disconnected from a lot of media and pop culture yet I still cannot avoid this.

Thanks for the share, Wutang.
This is a great illustration of how porn addiction works. You don't think you're addicted, because your brain convinces you otherwise. Until you consciously try to remove it from your life, porn seems like this benign activity similar to reading a book.
This can't be farther from the truth. Pornographic images and videos have massive power over us due to the connection to SEX. If he was just showing a funny gif of something wholesome, like a dog falling off the couch, it would not have that affect on you.
Learning from experiences like this is key to the process. Next time you're in a similar situation, you'll remember this post, and be skilled enough to avoid going down the rabbit hole.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious
For transparency sake - I've been dabbling in Kratom for the past few weeks. I think it definitely helps if you're trying to cut out porn and masturbation.
When I'm on Kratom, I still feel sexual, but I don't get raging horniness that comes with the urges.
Jury's still out if I recommend this stuff, I still want to weigh the pros and cons, but my libido has definitely been lower the past few weeks.
I wasn't sure if it was flatline, kratom, or lack of sleep, but after reading this post, I think it's the kratom:
https://www.goodlookingloser.com/thought...st-5-years
Quote:The Kratom Lifestyle Has a Positive and Negative Effect on My Sex Life
Even with high-testosterone levels (doctor-supervised HRT), Kratom has a negative effect on my sex drive.
In my case, I can still get turned on, sometimes very quickly - but my libido is not as strong as it would be without Kratom. It's far from dead however.
This is typical of long-term use of anything that affects opiate receptors but is certainly less than more "hardcore" compounds.
My general advice - just go through the motions in the bedroom, you'll get a boner. Cialis will obviously solve any ED issues.
At the same time, there's been a really helpful positive effect - Kratom makes me last longer in bed.
Often - a lot longer.
In my experience, the lowered sensitivity from Kratom is absolutely perfect for me.
It's not like a stimulant that will prevent me from getting hard. And It's not like similar compounds (Tramadol, or SSRIs) that totally prevents me from getting off.
Although not always necessary, Cialis and the lowered sensitivity combines for amazing performance in the bedroom.
It's really made me (seem) excellent in bed.
If you want to use Cialis every day, you can ask your doctor about Cialis for Daily Use (2.5 mg Cialis).
(FDA-approved, for what it's worth)
As a side note - Kratom has very little effect on my male enhancement efforts.
The lowered libido is a negative but nothing I can't work past or completely negate with Cialis. I've gone from ~6.0 to ~7.0 over the past 4 or 5 years, a long way from the modest 5.25" I started at in ~2001.

No fap has absolutely intensified that desire. I still desire sex as much if not more as I always have but the nature of this desire feels different from when I was a chronic masturbator and porn user. Now of instead of seeing a woman as a cum toilet, a device I use to take care of a bodily function, I want sex to also be a bonding experience and a way for the two of us probe and explore each other. At the risk of sounding like a blue bill sap, I'd like to be able to lose myself in a woman during the act.
Also, just made it to 90 days.
Congrats man on 90 days, I totally understand the feeling. Sex is more of a spiritual experience and there's nothing more natural and beautiful in the world than wanting to find a good woman lay her down, look her in the eyes and tell her that she's about to become a mother. Porn can't ever give you that feeling, even creampie porn. The most romantic/intense/fulfilling sex you will ever have is with a woman you love and that you're trying to breed.
Nothing else can even come close.
In fact, a major reason why I've gone nofap/noporn is to be a better lover to my future wife. I don't want porn/fapping to be a 3rd party to our marriage when she deserves every drop of my seeds deep inside of her. Now that is an intimacy that porn/fapping can never buy you. I feel like a madman waiting, but I'm using that extra sexual energy to up the wife hunt. The hunger, if focused, can drive a man to succeed in his goal of becoming a patriarch.

RE: NoPorn / NoFap Google Group - For Those Who're Serious
For those who have trouble getting or maintaining erections or feel like their libido is not flying on all cylinders like it should be, I may have a solution.
It took me 3 years to figure out what was wrong with me and why I couldn't perform like I used to, but it turns out that it was chronic tension in my pelvic floor muscles all along. I could explain further but I wouldn't be able to do it justice compared to this link:

If NoFap appears to help temporarily but your issues tend to resurface, it may be worth looking into.
