I'm currently onto my 14th day of no-fap. From day 9 I noticed that the amount of attention I was getting from women on the street sky-rocketed, not only in terms of quantity, but also in terms of quality of girl. A while ago I read "Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers." There was an interesting section about neurons, the brain, and sleep (Chapters 10 & 11) that gave me a breakthrough.

I'm extremely excited to see this thread reach 107 pages. NoFap and NoPorn have been a "crusade" of mine for at least four years. It's important for men and even more crucial for players and womanizers like us who need high sexual performance and health.

Posting back here for a reality check.

I've slipped hard.

Getting laid a bunch lately has helped, somewhat, but I still go the urge to jack it to porn.

Back on the wagon as I'm pretty sure that I'll be getting laid more consistently now and it has been extremely difficult from about a month long dry spell. I also think that it's embarrassing to admit how much I still struggle with this in my 30s. It really fucks up motivation. It fucks up mindset. It fucks up a lot.

Hell, even getting too much sex can wither you up and make you not want to do anything. It's hard to find a balance in life. Just because you can, doesn't mean that you should.

Off the thread topic but related to previous posts:

A good way to test for submissiveness is to early on, when appropriate, lightly push on the limits of deep tissue massage and their reaction.

I also like to grab the base of their hair while making out with them and seeing how they react. Some girls have next to no reaction. The submissive ones make good noises and start admitting early on how they like that bit of pain.

Flatlines can last anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the level of brain damage from porn. It's probably the absolute worst part of rebooting. But DO NOT "test" your erection with porn, or fantasies, or edging while on a flatline. There is no shortcut in the healing process. As for trying to get laid, I would recommend this but without forcing it too much. Always remember you are in recovery and healing from both an addiction and years of self abuse. If you force things too early, you delay your recovery. One day, when you least expect it, your boner and sex drive will come back with a furious vengeance by simply seeing a girl in real life who gives you nice and long eye contact.
