Trouble Rolling Solo
I moved to a mid-sized Midwest US city four months ago by myself. My work's in a really professional setting, most people are older and aren't into going out and we all work about 60+ hours/week. So for the last four months, I've been rolling out solo every Friday and Saturday night.

This last weekend when I was talkin to a chick her friend came by and grabbed her and told her "this guy creeps all the time." Now where I live there are only about ten bar/clubs total where it's worthwhile to run game. I can get maybe one number every time I go out and maybe one new lay a month. I'm a minority so I stick out like a sore thumb and I really don't want to get "figured out." This weekend's coming around and I'm kinda hesitant to roll solo.

Routes I'm considering taking:
1. Cooling it for a month: reflect on what I've been doing right/wrong and improving other parts of my life, new hobbies like reading and cooking, etc. Let the chicks I've gamed on move away or leave the going out circuit
2. Putting this on hold for a couple years: in about two years I'll be able to transfer to a larger city where I might know more people and I'll be working less and making a ton more.
3. Stay on the grind: keep doing what I do. One thing I follow when rolling out solo is staying a good position at the venue and not really running out of my way to approach, but when the night gets later it becomes more of a mess and I can't stay in the same spot. I might just try to stay in the same position regardless of how messy the situation gets.

Have you guys run into issues like this while rolling solo? What are other issues that might come up after rolling solo extensively?

Maybe try finding new venues even if they are a little farther away from where you live. A few hours of driving is very relaxing and its good thinking time when you get back.

Also read this thread, I know your problem is not the actual fear of going out solo, but nonetheless there is some good stuff in it:

Newbie thread.

This was a one-time, standard cockblock and you're letting it mess with you. Are you seriously thinking about postponing going out for TWO YEARS?!

1. Try day-gaming.
2. Go to one of other nine places that are "worthwhile."
3. Go back to the same place and keep doing what you do.
4. Make some friends.
5. Shut the next cockblocker down.
6. Use the search function for threads on going out alone.

Your options are abundant.

Seriously. Some anti-social bitch dogs you out like that and you want to avoid the place, fuck that. If some bitch interfered with my regular pulling venue, she better work there or be a manager cuz otherwise she's getting put in her place.

day game will be your saviour right now. forcing night life where it's poor is frustrating. i had a similar situation in a midsized american town, only a handful of night spots worth a damn. day game gave me some hope!

day game can aand should be done solo. good luck, but once you get the hang of it you will have a skill set for life.

I've done this in the past. It's not as successful as my night game, but it's a skill set any man cause use work on.
