Holy shit - this one takes the cake

Today I see a gorgeous blonde - (clearly a tourist) waiting at the lights. I stand next to her and ask 'Excuse me, do you know where the nearest grocery store is' - she stares back at me and says "Oh i'm lost myself, I'm actually looking for...

THEN an IRT butts in and says "There are 3 grocery stores along this road here - first you have XX and X and if you turn right after 500m you will find another grocery store across the road".

I tell him thanks, but the damage was already done. I had tried to fathom a 'whereabouts are you heading' but the lights had already went and she was walking in the opposite direction to where all the these fucking grocery shops were.

And to be fair, I've seen some positive comments on this thread.

Fully aware theres nothing I can do to stop this electronic witch, err I mean troll hunt. Haha. It's all about how you act in person and who you encounter. I've met lots of great guys during my travels that am really good friends with. For all the Steve Urkels you guys have encountered of any race, there are fun normal people too. And the more you interact with those kind of folks, race, country etc. mean nothing. For eg, met 3 Aussie cops on holiday last year at la Tomatina, ended up going to France together after and hanging with my boys in Paris for the next 3 days. Was amazing fun and they are coming to visit me in NYC this summer.

Hope to share some genuine tips, posts on this forum in the future. It's been really helpful, and am looking forward to contributing back.

I probably would have blown it too but that situation isn't unsalvageable by any means. You might get blown out fast but if not, you'll be able to share a good laugh at the expense of the socially unaware IRT.

Haven't ever tried direct in daygame. I have enough success with indirect/elderly openers that I haven't really felt the need. Suppose my ego gets in the way of things, as indirect lets you test the waters nicely.

Also the Youtube vids I see of guys going direct are quite cringe-worthy.

I'm in the gym today. IRT comes with an ipod and earplugs, starts shuffling his ipod while walking around. He sits in a machine, doesnt lift a thing, keeps shuffling his ipod. I start watching him carefully. He sits there for 5 minutes invading the machine, gets up, walks around still shuffling, sits at the next machine and keeps playing with his ipod, doesnt lift a thing. He keeps doing this with several machines for half an hour. Then he does one set of arm workout and then hits the shower.
ps: the gym is not cheap. it's relatively expensive in Krakow

I'm really starting to get tired of working with these fuckers on elance.

Say one thing, do another. Yes sir! Yes sir! still do it wrong. Something will take an hour and they try to set up the billing for 20 hours per week.

Told two of them to get fucked yesterday. After a fairly long discussion one wanted 15 hours to do something simple. Told him to get fucked and he comes back with "Will 2 hours be acceptable sir?" No, get fucked.

Most maddening, useless fucks I have ever dealt with.

last night, I was at a club in SF and while I rolled solo (i wanted to because I wanted to distract myself from some crap from my now ex told me), I wanted to fuck around on my own now fully being immersed with game. I was sitting on the side observing, chatting with other dudes, and texting some buddies of mine until some fucking IRT with a strong Indian accent (he dressed alright but still a fucking beta as I will say right now) came up to me because he saw me get disgusted with some fattie making cold approaches on men. since he saw me solo, he told me that I should lower my standards and be a chubby chaser. I wanted to punch him in the face so fucking bad because to even mention that sort of thing for me is an insult to me. but I cooled myself and held myself off because I know better than to put myself a low thing like that IRT. anyway, I brushed him off politely and i saw his girl. his girl was some asian chick who i would rate a 6 (she was skinny and dressed ok but had no real body). with his girl, he can't talk to me because I have had better looking girls on me without even using game.

That's interesting... Most Indians in America I meet are super hard working, honest, industrious, entrepeneurial... Especially the older gents, and ESPECIALLY Sikhs.

I've worked with quite a few Indians on a contract project. I was actually their supervisor. From my observations, you have to be very specific and detailed in what you want otherwise you're screwed.

They were not good at connecting the dots to figure out the grand scheme. It was more like just tunnel vision from my experience.

The problem is that the Indians and Pakistanis on oDesk and eLance bite off more than they can chew because they want the money. So you hire them, they invariably fuck it up and you've already paid them 50%. Which they'll happily take.

Meanwhile, your end client is ready to rip your balls off...

Even if you vet them and make your hiring process stricter, they're so clever at bullshitting that you'll still probably wind up getting a bad result. *Especially* when it comes to programmers and web devs. Such incompetence I have never seen.

Tip I got from a top-tier developer and owner of a mega-popular software biz: Hire your developers on Craigslist.
