good mayweather read..
http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/787...n-magazine

On this day, his regular workout finished, the champ tells one of his helpers to beckon two women from his entourage into his locker room. As he showers, he calls for one of them, a tall, dark-haired woman named Jamie, to soap his back while he continues to carry on an animated conversation with five or six men in the room.

He was busy at the time, talking about business, planning the rest of his night and occasionally walking out of the locker room to look at the Heat game on the television in the lobby to "check on my money." All he knows is he's wearing sweatpants and there's no betting slip in the pockets. In fact, that's all anybody needs to know.

As the waitstaff scrambles to seat the party of 18 around two teppanyaki tables, Mayweather discovers that his favorite chef is not working. This won't do. He calls the waiter over and speaks to him briefly. The waiter nods vigorously and pulls out his phone. Within 15 minutes, Mayweather's favorite chef is standing before him, smiling and bowing as he sharpens his knives and heats up the grill. The champ, it's safe to assume, is a good tipper.

I finished the third episode of 24/7. That guy is living the life.

What struck me, though: That guy blows through cash. Even at his income, I don't see how that lifestyle is sustainable.

Given his troubles with his ex-wife, one has to wonder, why does he need (another) fiance? Why does she need an 18-carat diamond ring? Oh well. I guess he can afford to deal with whatever comes.

All he needs to do is fight Pacqiuo and his money issues (if they ever arise) will be gone.

Mayweather is a piss ant. I can't stand the guy at times but I respect how he lives life 120% to the fullest. He's a heavy hand in Vegas, Casinos have started to capp his bets since he's been cleaning them out!

He just won 1.8 million on that comeback win in the first Clipper play off game. Pretty lucky dude. I think any financial problems that have been reported by the media, has been greatly exaggerated. He has a lot more ventures than just boxing in a ring.

I might need to take back my hope for a Mayweather-Martinez fight. If Floyd can come into a Jr. Middleweight fight (max 154 pounds) at only 151, no damn way he could fight as a middleweight (max 160) and not be probably slow and plodding.

You guys should check out the Rolling Stone magazine piece about himin the newest issue. No link, as it's behind a pay wall. RS is near the pinnacle in journalism IMO.
