iMack (international macking)

To use Neil's verb idea; "See Roosh over there? He's iMacking that Polish pussy pretty hard...."

RE: We need to come up with an alternate term to "sex tourist"
Guys, anything with the words pussy, player, playboy, mack, pirate, sex etc. etc. has a negative connotation for the average white knight, beta, or feminist. Even "gentleman" or "love" as modifiers have bad tones. A strip club is called a "gentlemen's club," after all. You might as well keep the term sex tourist. The old-fashioned terms "gentleman callers" or "men about town" have entirely different meanings. The portmanteaus (i.e., combinations of two words) are cheesy and cumbersome.

I really want to push for my International Bachelor. "Bachelor" doesn't have the negative associations of all of these other terms; doesn't sound hokey or try-hard; and doesn't transmit the outright sexualized mission that these assholes find so damn pestilent. I.B. sounds elegant, a bit vague, but just the right amount of suggestive to not castrate yourself linguistically.

Hate to trumpet my own idea, but it's the best one yet, fuckers.

Tuth: Good suggestion. The only thing is it has to be something that you can claim. So: "I am an international bachelor." Sounds slightly off. Last night I did some testing on a girl. We talked about travel and "sex tourist" came up. I said "I'm a love tourist" and she laughed and then got into it.

RE: We need to come up with an alternate term to "sex tourist"
I like the intent of "International Bachelor" but it's kind of a mouthful. I think the solution needs to be catchier and shorter, otherwise the laissez-faire bloggers are going to fall back on "sex tourist." And since this all has to do with winning an attitude more than replacing a couple of words, you kind of have to spoon-feed people. Especially since a large portion of those who might be addressing the lifestyle won't necessarily be a proponent of it.

It's a tough problem though, and I actually think that's one of the better suggestions so far. I'm gonna mull on this one over the weekend, with a few glasses of scotch.

This is meaningless definition. I bet if you ask ten random people what "International Bachelor" means to them, you'll get ten different meanings, and none of them will match yours. And when you explain them what you mean, some will reply with "heh, that's sex tourist, right?" Smile

But really, what are you guys concerned about? When I went to Thailand two years ago I told everyone who asked what I gonna do there that I'm going for sex tourism. What is a big deal?

I like love tourist, because it anticipates the charge of being a 'sex tourist,' thereby weakening it and adding a little tongue in cheek humor. IMO, you'd only come off as a hardass if you rage against a dude for being a "sex tourist" after he jocularly called himself a "love tourist." Then again, for white knights and feminists, being a stiff hard-ass comes naturally.

I think it should be a crafty word for someone who can't get enough of exploring other cultures with no sex undertones.

So you travel and raw-dog sluts huh? Yea, and learn the language and culture as well. Nobody here really puts down a place.. we try to find some good about it. It's more like prospecting than sex tourism. Those dudes have it dialed in. You go here it costs X dollars. Done.
People who think what we do is wrong should at least have some respect for the work and determination we have not to bang pros. It's work.

As in: That backpacker over there is totally skywalking that hot girl in the corner.
Or o god, my girlfriend got totally skywalked yesterday by this foreigner.

Not saying we should use this term but it would be beneficial if the word can turn into a verb. I think that will give it better media exposure.

Yeah but it's related to you, which can never be a good thing. Wink

And before you throw a fit, I'm joking.

You need the term to convey positive qualities, and also serve as a "sticky" meme.

Tim Ferriss is a great guy to look at when coming up with terminology. He's able to take something that already exists, slap a new term on it, reframe it, and market it to someone else.

Let's take a look at the term "feminism" for example. What really is it? On the surface it may appear to someone with a "reasonable mind" (gullible simpleton) as a movement that promotes rights for women. And while some good things have happened for women, in reality the movement is essentially about destroying gender roles, and promoting masculine qualities in women, while hurting men. "feminism" is about turning women into men, and taking power away from men.

It's an example of the "big lie" at play, and it's inherent in the very term itself. It immediately makes it difficult to attack. Saying "feminists are evil" on the surface connotes that you are attacking morality itself. I mean, how could women who promote something "feminine" be bad? Aren't women supposed to be "feminine"?

You may want a term that implies the opposite of "sex tourist".

Reading a textbook on public relations and/or marketing may be necessary to really get your head around this shit and give you an idea for how to reframe it properly to "put the ball in your court" linguistically.

I honestly don't know who came up with all these terms, but you're up against some of the greatest propaganda ever invented in the history of mankind. "democracy" "politically correct" "hate speech" "feminism" "racism" "terrorists"....

But if you pick the right term, and the right semantic web to imbed it in, you can put the ball in your court.

I don't know what the right term is yet, but something tells me cockquistador isn't going to work.
You want something that doesn't have anything to do with sex. I'd go with: Gentlemen Traveler. This is like what "strip clubs" did to make them sound respectable and double their prices: Gentlemen's Clubs. So we are Gentlemen Travelers spreading our love and goodwill around the world!

Does anyone else think it's sad that we need a label for guys who like to travel and enjoy pursuing normal male activities while doing so? People who go abroad and do lame touristy shit like sightseeing and ziplining are just called "tourists." Why do you get a special name if you like to get laid too?

I proposed love tourist as ironic because women accuse men of talking about sex while they themselves are mostly interested in love.

Pilgrims. In our case, many of us have left our country where we've been persecuted for our beliefs. We've gone to seek out greener pastures where our religion, in this case pussy, will be tolerable and accepting of our beliefs about women.

Honestly, any decent-looking guy that is a bachelor is assumed to be a "player," or non-committal. Negative connotations. "Bachelor" doesn't soften that any. Of course, if you game properly, they'll end up being another notch anyway...HA HA!

As much as they deny it, women Heart players. Granted women are dumb and all that but it's not hard to spot a player. They know the profile. Shit that's all they talk about is guys and relationships. It's what they live for. Men at least have other hobbies and passions in life besides women. Women's only passion and hobby in life is men.

And I like the term Love Tourist. I think it's the way to go. It's clear and concise and not ambiguous in any way.

That's a good example. Now think: did it really work? Does "gentlemen's club" sound respectable? Would you list it in your resume with other club memberships like sport clubs?

I can't have sex with your personality, and I can't put my penis in your college degree, and I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why are you sharing all this information with me?
