My band has 2 gigs coming up this week, Thursday and Friday nights. The Friday gig is for a function dedicated to my university's Engineering student body, and the Thursday gig is just a regular pub gig. I'm obviously going to try take advantage of this situation. (and hopefully not get too caught up in the drinking and partying)

I'm wondering which other members here are musicians, and perhaps use this as part of their game?

I used to be in a band and played a few shows. I had a girlfriend and was too stupid at the time but girls would come up to me all doe eyed and talk to me for a bit. I did however bang a girl solely because I was in a band.

What do you play? Vocalists and drummers have it the easiest. Make sure you are high energy on stage and get the crowd into it. After she will probably compliment you, be modest or cocky/funny, talk for a bit then grab a drink.

A second option would be to have plans for an after party. Invite a few girls out. Proceed accordingly.

I do guitars. Our front man is a great singer, and has decent stage presence, and pulls in the women fairly easily, so I know what you mean lol. (Imo, any vocalist that isn't pulling pussy is probably female fronted) And most good drummers I know are pretty slick dudes, and are pretty decent with women. My stage presence isn't bad, but I rarely practice so sometimes I need to spend a lot of energy just trying to remember our songs lol. Usually still get pretty decent responses from the crowd, regardless - If I'm gonna play like shit, I'll be damned if the crowd don't want a piece of that shit.

Definitely going to front my own band in the future. Much easier dealing with less members, I get first say in what's happening, and I get the hottest pussy thrown at me.

@ AntiTrace: It's hard to game when you're passed out on the floor somewhere and your gear is getting stolen.
@ pitt: Indeed. Drums are tons of fun, too. Would definitely be my instrument if I had somewhere to play them.

Any band member gets pussy. Singer usually gets first pick but there are girls out there who specifically fetishize guitarists are drummers. I'd say bassist is least desirable.

Playing for a crowd is instant DHV, but DHV doesn't get you laid, you still need to know how to use it to your advantage. Your biggest concern should be after show logistics.

Drumming isn't the best for hooking up after shows. While everyone else in your band is having fun at the bar, you've got to spend much more time packing all your shit up and making sure nobody walks away with anything. Plus before the show you have to spend more time setting everything up.

I'm the bassist of my band. The first time I got laid from a gig it was with a virgin, that was awesome. Being on stage is a great time for making eyes with fit girls and you always have the opener "what did you guys think of the show?"

If you have merch or CDs to sell, even better.

Yeah drummers are usually 1 of 2 types. Either the super quiet nerdy guy who spends all his time perfecting his drum technique or the biggest party animal you will ever encounter. The drummer of my band was the party animal. Half of his facebook pictures are him passed out drunk somewhere with an empty 26. His facebook wall is plastered with young girls wanting to fuck him.

...Now I want to start a band in my new town.

I don't use it as a part of my game, but its definitely a good DHV by itself. Just another good quality that doesn't hurt to have in your arsenal.

Singers and drummers get the hot dumb girls. Bassists get the dirty hippie chics and guitarists get the smart girls. You're pretty much screwed if you play Jazz flute

Flea seems like the kind of guy that could pull pussy if he was homeless. He's married to a VS model if my memory serves me correctly. There have been a few womanising bassists around - Nikki Sixx, Gene Simmons, Flea, Johnny Christ, and I'm sure a bunch of others. All of these guys had a pretty solid presence about them to begin with, though.
