Monogamy makes some sense. I don't know how many of you played Oregon Trail growing up, but feeding more than one wife while traveling cross country in a stagecoach could be quite hard. My hypothesis is that monogamy came as a result of the nomadic lifestyle.

Or, maybe because when you're busy tending the fields, you don't really have time to think about more than one bitch.

There are plenty of situations where monogamy makes sense, but for our present situation there isn't much sense besides sticking with tradition, or because you're too lazy to go out and git some.

For me it's not a moral problem, its a logistical one. I would be watching for my wallet, for her pimp, making sure the condom didnt slide off, not kissing her, running out of time, getting played, etc etc etc

I simply couldn't relax enough to enjoy it. I realize that picking a girl up is very similar but I need at least a minimal level of trust to stick my manhood into another living being.

Didn't read the article in its entirety, but the guy probably has a lot of money. Users of prostitutes are typically loaded (this guy spent 220,000!! on hookers). In my observations, a lot of guys flush with cash don't run game, because their egos can't tolerate rejection.

Sex for money In a lot of parts of the world is definitely more expensive than what comes freely, once you have a little knowledge. I can never figure it out when I see people spending $1000 or more for a hooker. Japanese guys do it like crazy.

I like sex every day. Here in Hawaii if I was paying straight escorts it would be roughly $200-250 a shot. You can always work a little and find some skank somewhere everyday and your costs will never be $1400 a week. Then again you could get streetwalking iceheads for $20.

There were some good insights in the article.

On another level, dude needs some help - and I'm not talking about his hooker habit, in and of itself. Seems like he has some issues. Then again, who am I to judge. Either way, he's banged 1300 women. That's gotta count for something, hookers or no hookers. Although, even though he doesn't come right out and say it, it seems like he might be psychologically unable to get aroused by a non-prostitute. He definitely has some emotional 'eccentricities'. Quite sure they still do in Soho. They're cheap knocking shops; you pay your 20-50 pounds and have twenty minutes or so. From the book, "The Red Queen" it states that monogamy is actually in the best interests for men, rather than women. Women couldn't care less about monogamy.

The reason being, people of higher social status would take all the women available and leave the regular folks with an extreme shortage of women. Modern day example, if people with status like Obama had over 1,000 wives, regular 9-to-5 dudes would have to scrape for the left over women. By limiting the number of women each man can have to 1, it makes sure that more guys can have a woman, than be tortured with involuntary celibacy.

Yea but it's practically the same anyway, monogamy doesn't make it any different. Men of power still bang loads of lizards and regular dudes have to scrape by (or learn game) or else fcuk with the bottom feeders.

Many men marry average looking lizards or less. Do you think that's who they want or that's just what they could get? Then they rationalise by saying oh she's a good person blah blah blah. The good ones (hot looking with good personalities) are snatched up by the highly ranked males.
