Men are disgusted by acne and blemishes because those are indicators of poor internal health.

From an evolutionary standpoint, men want fertility in their women. Good waist-hip ratio, tits ass and cute face are all signs of fertility, and femininity which in turn goes right back to her ability to bear children, especially quality ones.

But also, what is the point in her being fertile and producing quality children if her health isn't adequate? Disease prevention is key, not so much in modern times, but the past 100 years are nothing to change more than a million years of human evolution.

Acne is death on a cute girl. Ugly girl with acne is essentially evolutionary suicide.

It's obvious this matters a lot less from a male standpoint. Men have different factors going for them, it goes without saying. The biggest indicator for male health (which also ties in to attractiveness) are signals of high testosterone. If the male is high test, he is automatically desirable, and he certainly has good health, because his body has been able to withstand the compromising effects of testosterone from the onset.
