Ever since Facebook added a "share" button, I've been seeing an epidemic of the wussy, pussy-pedestaling beta behavior showing up in photos and statuses. It's exploding my news feed because girls I'm friends keep sharing this shit on their profiles. The funny thing is, the original poster of this drivel is never a woman. It's always a guy, and not just a guy, but a guy who matches the stereotype of every alpha male player I ever met at a high school party. Here's a photo a girl I'm friends with shared for on Facebook, with the description: "EVERY GIRL DESERVES A GUY LIKE THIS <3"



The guy who posted it looks like this:



And then there's this guy I met just a few months ago. He's a your classic funny loving party animal who's great to just kick back and have a drink or smoke a joint with. He manages to pull off the whole white-boy swag thing better than anyone I've ever met and as a result he gets approached by hot girls all the time. I know he gets laid a lot, and yet his Facebook wall is full of this sort of drivel:

Two hundred people liked that status. Twenty-two people shared it.
These aren't isolated incidents, this is happening every day. I see this stuff every time I get on Facebook. It's always some stupid beta message posted by a guy who I know can pull pussy, or a guy that I'm pretty sure can pull pussy. What the fuck has happened to these guys?

You ever think that players might throw red herrings out there to camouflage their true nature?

The thing is these guys have personality and are go-getters. A bunch of guys at my gym are like this. They're absolute dumbasses and guaranteed to be deadbeat 40 year olds, but they sure do get pussy now.

I think this would be a good experiment.
