Bang, Day Bang, 30 bangs, Paul Janka's ebooks, Starting Strength and Tyler Durden's youtube videos particular his RSDFreeTour talks. Also the archives of Roissy/Heartiste (also Roissy's full list of maxims), Roosh, Solomon II's Lost Gold and The Rationale Male.

RE: Best Self Help Resources
^do you think all of that is necessary? not knockin ya, i'm just wondering.

from my experience, going out and actually doing things is the greatest "self help" tool. i do enjoy reading books and what roosh said is very true: "reading books is the greatest way to experience something interesting without doing something interesting", but what's stopping you from going out and actually doing those interesting things? hit the gym, play sports, go out and socialize, dress to kill. when i actually went out and made a fuck ton of mistakes, all of those lessons internalized much quicker than reading some internet blog.

definitely not hating blogs and books, i've learned a lot of interesting things from reading roosh's website, and it's very entertaining; but for young dudes like me, action trumps almost everything most of the time.

Why not learn from others’ mistakes instead of making your own? I’m all for going out and practicing, but why do trial and error, when you can eliminate the error from reading and cut straight to practicing what works?

i (personally) internalize knowledge much quicker when i make the mistake and experience some sort of loss. since it actually happened to me, it's much easier to handle a similar situation better.

it could just be me personally though. i still read all the time. i'm just not so sure if reading a ton of fucking self help books and watching some PUA's free tour is the solution.

Tyler Durden's stuff are mental masturbation.
