just google 'laurie maylon headbutt' and you see about a hundred links that cover the story. Apparently the guy who headbutted her got no jail time and was schizophrenic.

She did some white knighting and some first class attention whoring, even if she isn't a fake. "it's so good that there are strong women like me in the world" etc.

But the picture is fake. I think she exaggerated her injuries to make herself more of a heroine. She may have had a slightly bruised eye or slightly fractured nose - who knows - if that picture is the extent of her injuries then it shows she didn't suffer much. Instead, she layered on the makeup to exaggerate her injuries and attention whore.

That black eye she painted on her face is laughable. Here's what actual broken noses and black eyes look like:

^ In this pic you can clearly see how blood collects at the bottom of the eye socket from a black eye, not right beneath the eyelid. Plus it's easy to see how fucked up this kid's nose is. Also notice how his eyes swell shut.

Ahhhh. Good point. Yes, now that I can see, her makeup job is too smooth. There's no skin trauma and the color is a smooth purple color, with no blood pooling.
