I don't have my shyt online so lizards can't google me and because my city is built of social circles, I often give fake names.
I had a lizard google me once over dinner and she came up with something in Germany (I've never been there and I don't have family roots there).

I feel you on this one girls are the worst with this kind of thing. They live for facebook stalking. Pre-game when I first met one of my exes her and her friends got drunk one night and spent the entire time stalking people online finding out everything they could about them. I've had girls complain about not being able to find me on facebook and girls have told me they 'creep' my page and facebook-stalk me like its nothing. They'll ask about girls who've posted on your wall etc.

To my knowledge I haven't had any girls look me up online, but I wouldn't be surprised. I have caught 2 separate girls going through my phone and computer/internet tabs. Its disgusting behavour.

Well the good thing is that they are into you. But that's creepy stuff. I had some jordanian chick look up my high school photos since conversation led to how I went to high school with her cousin.

I don't mind it a little since it shows that you were a little mysterious in not telling her the whole scoop about yourself. I don't have a twitter, Facebook or online account where hunnies can creep.

A good play is to always feed them consistent information that you have already decided on and to google that information on routine basis. I registered my fake credentials on mylife.com when i was actually researching one of the women i was fucking. And after that it starting sending me alerts with age and location and sex if someone was searching for me. And I have gotten quite a few.

I've had a lot of girls make the attempt, but fortunately I share a name with a D-list actor and am therefore very difficult to search. If they can't find me, they often bring it up.

In my case, it was actually something work-related that is open to the public... so there is no way around it really unless I stop telling them where I work altogether (which I have no problem with).

She wouldn't let the twitter thing go so I changed the subject and ended up calling her out (a lie) for farting during sex the first time we went at it. She's pretty insecure so of course she immediately denied it, went on the defensive, and called me a liar for about 10 minutes until she started sulking in defeat. I told her it's ok, I don't really mind, I just didn't think girls were capable of farting like that. She attacked me (in a good way) on the couch. Sarcasm trumps all.

Once a girl finds a specific piece of unique information on you (along with your first name), you'd be surprised how easy it is for these women to find you. Linkedin is probably the worst culprit, though it wasn't in this case for me.

I do the same for girls. I thought most guys did.

Gives you an idea about their interests, conversation topics, etc.

This sort of recon is important. Of course, you don't reveal that you googled her, but you use it to your advantage.

The only chicks I've googled were if I hung out with them more than once. For me though, it was just to determine if they were nuts. I never went to the great lengths that some of these women do. And yeah, women are a million times worse when it comes to recon (morally/ethically) than men, but they're damn good at it.

I am a published author, so it is very hard to hide online. I could give a fake name, but the 'author' bit is part of my game (DHV) esp because of the material I write.

I don't regard it as creepy or sneaky when a girl googles a guy or looks him up... it means she is curious and interested. Why is she looking? The intent is the key. Are they haters looking for dirt, or are they sweet chicks that are looking for information to reinforce their imagination about how great you are?

Since the internet is not going away, we must adapt to this new reality and not be ruined by it... thus, we must deliberately create an online presence that is congruent with the real-life presentation, or even much better than. I keep most of my online life squeaky clean, and I am unapologetic when/if they find something they don't like. It's not doom, if they do that, its just a shit test, and can even be a catalyst for sparking attraction, like most shit tests are.

Be aware, or be square.

I think girls do this when they are into you. The question is whether this is just typical chick curiosity, or whether this is a harbinger of things to come should you get more serious with her (i.e. a FB or LTR).

Why don't you just reject they're friend request? That's what I do and I changed my settings on facebook so that they can't post anything on my wall or send me any messages if they're not my friend. Works pretty efficiently and there's no worries.

They can google me all day long. The only shit that comes up is business that I'm involved in and some dude with the same name as me who owns a campground in Maine. They ask me about facebook sometimes and I either say it has a virus or it's retarded. Face book is retarded anyway. It seems the people on there just post stupid shit they find online and pictures of kittens with captions.

Or random song lyrics that explain their mood, like my sig haha. Facebook was cool when I was in college, rarely use it anymore. I also locked my privacy settings down so no one can search for me, only friends can view pics of me, etc. If someone has my full name and job title, the only thing that pops up is a LinkedIn account I have never added info on.

Girls google me everytime. I've never thought to keep my last name from them, but it's not a bad idea. That said, if you google me, the results are somewhat DHV, at least I'd like to think so =)

The only time it creeped me out was when one girl told me that "you look a lot like your father". I gave a look and asked her how the fuck did she know what my father looks like and she said bluntly "maybe you should tell your mother to increase her facebook security settings" (I was not friends with her on facebook. I am not searchable on facebook).

This is what I think people don't understand. Most of these girls are crazy enough to start researching your family and friends. Once they have your full name there's a lot they can do with that.

Girls are crazy, and will continue to be crazy. Therefore whatever technology develops, they will utilize to find out everything they possibly can about you. Solution? Just continue to better yourself so when they "google" you, or whatever the term becomes years from now, all that comes up are your accolades and accomplishments. Keep your Facebook/twitter/linkedin profiles on tight security and the rest shouldn't be a problem

I take it as a good sign when they do that. They wouldn't be going to the trouble of playing Internet Detective if they weren't interested. But yeah, I keep my internet shit locked down so the only thing you'll find by googling my name is my very nondescript public Facebook profile (and videos of my band which I don't mind bitches seeing).

Literally the only thing you'll see if you're not my facebook friend is my profile picture. If you put a lot of effort into it you might be able to figure out what town I'm from and where I went to college. And that's if you have my last name, which I don't usually give out. So I'm not too worried about a crazy bitch breaking down my door with a meat cleaver.

And yeah, if they don't turn out to be a complete psychopath I think it is a good thing because it indicates that they're interested when they try and get intel on you. If they didn't have any interest what reason would they have to go snooping?

I'm really curious what GMAC looks like. Seems like his main avenue for pulling, like me, is OKC. I've had a few one night stands from there, but it usually takes me two dates to seal the deal. Sure, I've got dozens of notches from online, but the amount of ONS I can count on one hand. I have to send at least 6 messages (usually 10) just to get one in person date. How are you doing it so easily?

I found your OKCupid profile just by the basic stuff you gave out on your profile and this forum so you gotta be careful with that info though I'm sure your not worried to much about girls finding your OKCupid profile.

I'd give you a 6-7 (no homo). Definitely decent enough to have success on OKcupid.
