Oh fuck. Seems that Alpha behaviour is getting increasingly criminalized.
What are the odds that the 18 year old girl's mom cooked this up? And of course he's arrested immediately on someone's mere word, despite the fact that it was 14 years ago.

The claim is that he received a hummer from a 17-year-old 14 years ago. Quite possible, but how are they possibly going to prove that beyond a reasonable doubt? This is pure defamation of character and a warning to future would-be "offenders."

They were going to find something to pin on this guy if it killed them. That was obvious. It was destroying a lot of haters on the inside that he was banging this girl by the letter of the law. Nothing bothers dried-up old bitches, white knights, and sexless betas more than a guy scoring some young, cute girl by his own hard work. No, that's impossible. You must have cheated somehow. You must have hypnotized her. You must have tricked her. You must have "groomed" her (the term they're using about what he did and they're trying to somehow legislate now).

My question is: where the fuck is the statute of limitations on this shit? Surely, 14 years is a long time for a hummer. And, is anyone going to find it suspicious that it suddenly comes out? There better be a paper trail of some kind on this shit, like the text messages the mother of the other girl is pointing to.

You can't just claim this shit out of the blue.

My answer: a crime was reported, and the police arrested the accused person. The police is not considering statute of limitation, self-defense and even whether it happened at all. This is not their job, this is the job for the DA and the judge. The article doesn't mention him to be charged with anything yet, so this is too early to discuss.

Yep. I wonder what kind of evidence they could find, although I guess a typical American jury would probably convict him without any evidence at all. He's behaving very against the culture in the news - not apologizing, and standing his ground - and this indeed pisses off a bunch of Puritans. Add here that a lot of people in the US have nothing else to do than to sniff through someone's dirty underwear, and you have a kind of case.

See, he should've done it four years before, when she was 13. And instead of going for a consensual hummer, he should've drugged and raped her. Then he'd be in the clear. Oh, minor detail - also be a world famous filmmaker.
