Not sure what he got, but he let her off the hook IMHO if he owned less. Had it been the other way around the woman would have sunk tooth and nail into the dude.

What is funny, was reading the comments calling him classy or a real man for not taking her assets. While its these same women who would call a woman taking all of the dudes assets entitled.

Non rvf members need to wake up and if they do get divorced, at least take what is half minimum. This old fashioned mentality of taking care of the woman is bs. She can survive just fine with affirmative action etc.

Had I been russel, I would have taken half the estate, and alimony. Guy Ritchie did it well. When he divorced madonna, he originally didn't want a penny, but ended up getting close to $100 million.

But i see a post claiming he gave got a windfall. Don't know.

Speaking of rich divorcees, any tips on finding them would be appreciated haha!

Brand is extremely popular. He's confident he will always get plenty of work, so that probably played a part. I wouldn't doubt that pride also played a part. Regular joes like us often do the same, even when they are flat broke, because their pride won't let them take money from a woman. In the grand scheme of things, he'd probably rather have the NYC penthouse than a house. It would have been hard for me to say no to $20 million though...

We also don't know all the facts. What if Katy had information on Brand that would damage or destroy his career if revealed.

I'd like point out that what you're not reading the full settlement, just excerpts. So yeah, he did not get that home (makes me wonder whether it is paid off?) and some other things, but I'm sure he got something as the judge will not approve the settlement which is obviously unfair. Being cynical and practical I'm pretty sure he got his fair share.
