So i went to this house party last night and saw her sitting next to her friends and looking bored. I approached her, isolated her from others but immidiately as many of you would imagined i ran into a problem. She wasn't talking a lot and only smiled. I slowed down my talking pace a bit and escalated physically but not like Tyler Durden's claw technique.

Anyways, i got her number now. Should i bother doing something with her? Or move on?

Why are you asking us? You're the one who best knows how well it went.

Call, don't text. Texting will mess things up. From my experience, calling, you both hear each other's voices, which brings back whatever comfort you built with her the night before, not to mention, less chance at messing up.

Also calling, IMHO is another way of comfort building.

Texting is definitely getting old/everyone is using. Go old fashion style every now and then.

^Hmm, interesting because that is the exact opposite of what I've experienced. Again though, experiment with both and see what works best for you.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not against texting, and texting has served me well, but living in a workaholic city where women have no time for constant texting/checking her phone has made me turn back the old fashioned way couple of times and it worked, even though one girl was surprised as she rarely gets calls on her cell.....

Calling between 7pm-9pm is my IDEAL time to call, try to actually make a note of it through a text earlier in the day. I'm a smoker so if the girl was a smoker too, they usually LOVE a smoke break over phone, maybe with a coffee......consider it an initial mini-date prior to your actual 1st date to grease the wheels a bit and take off some pressure from 1st date.

So i decided to text her and i think it works pretty good so far. But one thing i don't understand, is why does she take so little time to respond after me having hours to respond to her?Example: When i respond to her texts, 3 minutes later she also takes 3 minutes to respond.....

I wouldn't worry about her text response time as long as she doesn't take hours to respond.

I know most guys disagree, but I think it's easier to build comfort over the phone then over text. You can access her emotions easier when actual voices are involved. I can get a better sense for her feelings.

Of course, I use both texting and calling.

I just don't like to see guys give up on calling. Its still a good move sometimes. I think it takes more courage to call, which in turn builds your inner game faster and stronger. And, it builds your conversational skills, which doesn't happen with texting.

@Govonny: I would say confidence, not courage. You may build up some nerve to call but it will sound akward. I will definately make phone call with the girl i like but i find it much easier when some comfort is established over some text messages. One time i remember when a girl told me "i like your voice" over the phone conversation. Phone calls are worth it for sure.

I think my biggest aversion to calling is the amount of time it takes up in comparison to texting. I'd just assume try and get her out in person with me so I can actually build physical comfort with the girl.

I used to use the phone, and could definitely carry on a good convo, but I hated when things were said that I knew I could take in a sexual direction, but there was simply no point. Plus getting girls to laugh, in person I can use that to touch or start guiding her into things being sexual. Texting avoids all that and just works on getting that next meeting. Yes, I've had many girls text me with something along the lines of: "Do you want to have sex tonight?" So much simpler that way.

Then again the majority of my bangs start off as same night lays. Thus the texting is merely a formality.

No, i meant, that thing he does on Hot Seat videos he puts on youtube.
Anyways, this is all in the past. I gotta focus on the upcoming "battles".....

I think it doesn't really matter how long it takes her regardless of if its a couple of seconds or an hour. People are busy in the day and they may have a break or they may be at work. I wouldn't read into it too much.
