I had no idea Devon Aoki was Rocky's daughter. It seems the downside of wealth/fame is the excess (be it drugs, alcohol, possessions, thrill-seeking, and....PUSSY), and it gets to almost everyone, and they need something near tragic to bring them back to Earth. I used to work right around the corner from the Benihana on 56th Street and ate there once with co-workers. The only reason women marry guys like this, and "endure" their behavior, is for the payoff that comes with either divorce or their deaths. I don't blame the kids for doing what they're doing.

I'd be surprised if the kids saw much in the way of money. There's a cultural impetus behind his behavior, mainly the fact that the kids sued him. In a Japanese household that shit doesn't fly regardless of how well founded the reasons are. I know for a fact that if I ever sued my father (who's Japanese) I wouldn't see a cent of my inheritance. He'd burn the money before giving it to me.

Guys like this are losers in every sense other than financially.

Make money your god and raise kids with the same values? Not a good path to happiness but a good path if you want your entire family suing each other.

Believing that having multiple women on the go requires deception is another epic fail.

In some European cultures (Italian in particular) this has always been prevalent, particularly when women got older. They would acknowledge that they no longer had interest in sex, so even if they didn't verbally give the green light, they understood that he would get it elsewhere. The rules were that you don't neglect your family, you don't ever bring her to the family's home, and you don't otherwise embarrass your wife with what you might be doing on the side. The side piece also knew her place. Having a child with another chick drains resources, and that's a no-no. Latin men have been known to do this also, though I'm not so sure the women were quite so understanding about it.
