As a "location independent" guy, I am often wondering where I should be living in the world.

I'm living in the Ukraine at the moment, the reason being is that it's dirt cheap, it has pretty girls, and decent internet speeds(important for Skype).

I'm enjoying myself here but I'm considering another country, my shortlist countries are Brazil, Russia, and India.

I was wondering where you other LI members are living and why you chose to live where you are.

Definitely not India if you are interested in women.

Goa was pretty hot in April. I know a lot of places started to close shop around that time with dwindling tourists.

I also think the monsoon season is around the corner.

Brazil is fairly expensive so if you're looking for another cheap country then I'd avoid. Thailand, covers all your needs really. Cheap, lots of good looking and easy women, everything from beaches to jungle and mountains, Bangkok is the ultimate party city.

Inonesia has it's good points. The Phillipines is a dirty shithole full of professional "girlfriends", but it's difficult not to find fun and adventure there, and if you take some time to poke around you may find some very likeable locals. And the cost of living is as low as you care to go.

I enjoyed Thailand for a few years, but don't plan to go back, as the girls there were not really girlfriend material. They lie and cheat as habit and will drive you nuts if you care to keep up civilized pretenses. A great deal of fun and a great place to have MLTRs and short flings.

As I'm getting older, I'll restrict myself to areas where very large age differences still work. I have in mind to visit Central America - perhaps Panama, and the deep interior of Brazil, and the DR, to scout out farm land and the local scene. It's getting about that time in life where I'd like to have some homestead, somewhere, even if I rarely visit it. Just a place with my stamp on it. A plot I could put some kids on if I ever decide to keep any.

But I've heard that there may be other options - such as the south of France, or where you are - Eastern Europe such as Poland or the Ukraine. Even Montreal in the summer has been lauded - but I have to think I'm too old for that scene in that location. Might work to travel part of the year and import the girls to a place like France, though.

If I weren't very intimidated by the language barrier, I'd be looking next to Korea, China, and Japan.
