I never ate around Calle Pizza - lol. Had food all over the city and in fact Peru and wasn't really able to find anything besides using lot's of intel from the locals.

Peru isn't bad especially if you speak fluent Spanish. I just wouldn't go back for the girls or food there - there are just so many other awesome destinations that compete with it. It's not in my TOP 10. But it's also not in my BOTTOM 10

I'm here in Lima for 5 more days. I went to Miraflores/Larcomar a few days ago and it is completely infested with gringos. At Larcomar I saw more gringos/white people than I see in many parts of California and Arizona.

I could have sworn that it was this thread that someone had posted something about a girl that was very white and the guys thought of her as the "hottest girl in town" just for being the whitest, Despite her being just a typical white girl had she been in the US.

Well now that I know that that is how it works, I set out a plan where I will have a blast by being the "hottest guy in town that tons of girls want"
I just carefully selected a city in Peru that seems to be a perfect fit. I found a city that is all amerindian girls and I actually think a ton of them are so damn cute! But also, there are no gringos at all there and with them really liking American whites, and especially ones with good looks, my exotic factor will be through the roof with me being the only gringo and a plus with above average looks even for a Toronto white young male. So I will kill this city! It will be a thrill having girls just gravitate towards me when I get to my new untapped goldmine of a city!

So, just go through Peru and find a city where there are no gringos and if they are amerindians all there, they will be all over you I am sure, especially this being Peru where they are most notorious for having a lust for caucasian.

I have officially decided that this is how I will play the game. Go pick a small city, but not too small, that has no gringos and it will be the shit! I have already knocked away Cusco, Lima and Davao as well as Cebu, simply because these Peru/ Phils cities are overrun with gringos which kills the exotic/novelty factor. Where the zero competition factor couples with the novelty/exptic factor, a huge lack of entertainment venues means nothing to me because this will make it a lot funner than any club can. A daygame paradise like the above and with minimal entertainment venues really could be this perfect playground I have been looking for as it beats any big city. So I am playing super exotic factor to get some crazy thrill of all the girls wanting me. This will never happen where they are surrounded by other ones.

I herd some of the same shit about the Philippines, like girls only talking to you to get money. The whole 3 months I was in the Philippines I only had one girl ever ask me for money. I have never encountered a girl that i thought was merely into me because she wanted my money. Of course I have given a couple money for a cab ride becuase i didnt want to keep them overnight.

Last night I had a small gathering at my house, and I have a story to tell about it in my other thread, but the bottom line was that I had three beautiful girls over. And not just beautful by Peruvian standards. Later I went to a house party infested with gorgeuous girls.

For the last time, Peruviangirls onaverage are not the most beautiful, you just have to search a little. They can be very cute and sweet. Many have cooked/cleaned/payed for my meals. This is beating a dead horse already. Good luck on wherever you choose to go.

I can deal with not all Peruvian girls being hot, its not like Davao in the Philippines was packed with lookers. The things in people complained about in that article were not all about girls looking for money from gringos. Out of all the comments I read (I read them all) not one person chimed in and said anything nice or disputed the vile facts other had mentioned. There was a few guys who mentioned it was easy to get laid. Even lots of Peruvians commented and agreed about everyone in Peru being rude, dishonest, and stupid. I know its not Murica and things aren't all peaches and rainbows but every comment in that link painted a shitty picture with the same themes. Lots of people wrote in who have also traveled to many third world countries and claimed by far Peru took the cake.

Good there are already too many Americans in Peru I hope everyone reads that and decides not to visit. But seriously, I didn't have any problems in Peru and nobody ever asked me for money. I think what you give is what you get so if your attitude is shit your going to get shit attitude back. Both my times there I was treated well with the people I got to know. I'm considering going back again and maybe staying a few months next time.

Just for the record the people in that thread were not saying girls are only after money. I just used that as a example of something I herd about a country that ended up not being true.
The comments on that link go from 2010 to 2014 and I read them all. They all have the same theme and not one comment defends Peru. Not even the girls and guys living in Peru that wrote in.

A few people mentioned it was ok for a one or two week trip but any longer then that and you start to see it for what it is. I was looking to stay for months. I was just curious to see if any one from the forums who has been there for a extended period of time has any opinions on the how valid the comments on the link are.

From reading some other threads on here it seems like Santiago de Chile or even Panama may be a better choice to start my adventures in South America.

I eended up deciding to stick with Cuzco. Just simply go and exploit the part of Cuzco where the gringos are not. Outside of there, there are so few white people and is such a sea of dark skinned natives, that you will not have a hard time feeling weird by how unique you are. I may then go and randomly pcik a neighborhood in Lima where gringos don't really know about and go and stay there and enjoy more exotic status!.

What is the weather like in Lima right now? I assumed it was always pretty warm there and just planned on taking short sleeve v-necks and some pants with one or two long sleeve button ups.

Haven't been to Lima yet but have been many times to South America, mainly Brasil with side trips to Argentina and Paraguay. Since the seasons are reversed in the Southern Hemisphere, SA is currently in spring and by December, their summer. My guess is that you may not need hoodies or jackets but just to be safe, I'd take a light leather jacket just in case.

Definately bring a couple of light jackets. Locals call this city "Lima La Gris" for a reason. Spring just started on the 23rd, but still the city is blanketed constantly with overcast skies day and night. Especially here in Miraflores. I've seen blue skies maybe 8 times since July. The two apartments I've had did not have heating either. Mid-high 50's at night, low-mid 60's in the day.

Props to Redneckpunk for this datasheet, it helped me immensely. I'm down here through October 9th, met up with Spectrumwalker and Axeman, these two know the terrain here very well. Couple of pointers.

1. Everything is negotiable here.

2. Taxis are dirt cheap and rule #1 applies. Yesterday I got a cab ride across to Surco from Miraflores, the cab ride was a least 20 minutes and costs 10 Soles ($3.50), I didn't talk the driver down, I probably could have gotten the ride for 7 Soles (but I honestly would have felt bad).

3. Women - I don't want to beat a dead horse but the women here are not that attractive. Even the ones at the gyms are a bit hard on the eyes.

4. LatinCupid - things have changed a bit. Most of the girls on LatinCupid are looking for a man from the states to wine and dine them, a lot of them are hookers.

a. One girl wanted me to meet her and her friend for dinner before we went out, I told her to go ahead and have dinner with her friend and I would meet her at bar for drinks - never heard from that puta again.

b. My first date in Peru was with this young ugly girl who didn't do her Latin Cupid pics justice. She was thin but had a bloated stomach. I told her I would meet her at Starbucks, but I quickly decided she was not worth being seen with, so we went to a local Peruvian spot and she had a tunafish salad for breakfast. I had to watch her swallow whole pieces of tuna because she didn't want to get her braises dirty. (soon thereafter I bounced and blocked her number).

c. Girls here will not award you flags on the first date. The only girl I tagged on the first date was this girl I had been pipelining for 2 weeks via whatsapp.

5. Accomodations:

a. Don't rent from Airbnb (especially from a woman named Glenda who advertises her apartments as new. She asks for a lot of money and the unsuspecting renter, who determines value by price, will be suckered into renting from her).

b. Do not pay more than $60 per day for an apartment in Miraflores, UNLESS its overlooking the water near "el parque de amor" or the Larcomar Shopping complex.

c. Do not rent from Glenda-trust me!!!

d. Rent a hostel near el parque kennedy, there is one called "Flying Dog" I wish I had rented a room there.

6. Food - La Lucha sandwiches are tasty and their baked potatoes are food for the gods. Be careful with their juices and shakes, they add sugar to all of them, tell them "sin azucar" if you are watching your 6 pack. Another great place is Punto Azul as previously mentioned.

Try the electronic departments of Ripley and Saga Falabella. There's also a RadioShack on Avenida Larco, block 6, next to Cafe Manolo. They may have them.

I found one in some little hardware store on a random side street.. it doesn't work though. There was a bigger one in some other hardware store but I passed it up to get a smaller one thinking it would be easier to travel with and now I can't find the store with the bigger one anymore ha. I checked Radio shack and the electronics place at Saga Falabella they didn't have them.


Out of bordeum last night I went to some hooker bar in Kennedy park "The old Canadian video pub" It was entertaining to say the least. There was some youngish maybe 30 year old white guy there, decent looking and dressed pretty sharp and was just very awkward in his interactions with the girls even though they were hookers. How do you manage to be that unsmooth well dealing with hookers. I guess some guys just really don't know how to interact with females. Then he started doing some kind of hyper shuffling dance on the dance floor that was very cringe worthy. Ofcourse the hookers were cheering him on like he was Magic Mike.

There was a couple of old men there doing the hooker thing. I'm not for pvp but for super old guys it looks like the easiest way to go about scoring young girls. Theres really not much BS involved. Its like young girl buffet, you just pick what you like and pay for it. If I ever get old enough where I can't pull anything under 30 I would certainly hook up with hookers I believe.

Has anyone managed to find some Bragg AVC? Apparently all the people that come here end up getting some stomach problems eventually. I'm gonna try my damnedest to avoid it.
