In Toronto stick to the gap, h&m or Zara for t shirts if you are on a mini budget. No need to buy the Gucci t shirts as you will be ripped off and there is not much of a difference in quality for a simple t.

The malls there usually have quarterly sidewalk sales. Find out when one is happening say in yorkdale or square one for that matter

Hey, thanks for this. I'm looking at these shirts now and I'm interested. They are definitely pricey. Do you buy them online? I'm always reluctant to buy online the first time because I don't know how the shirt fits.

You have to try these on, some styles are quite different than others. Even when I normally wear a med I wouldn't order online. There's also weight of wool to consider. I prefer the 200 weight, the 150 'ultralight' is most comfortable, but can get some small holes after a year. The black wool also looks darker than black cotton.

My favorite polos are Original Penguin the "Earl" model.

They are exactly what you are describing- slim cut with a narrower waist and are shorter in length than the typical polo-on me they fall just at the bottom of the waistband.

The sleeves are also a bit shorter than other polos, which shows off your upper arms better.

At 6 ft 170lbs i usually wear a large in casual shirts but i find the medium fits me well - snug without being too tight.

My shoulders, chest and upper arms look really good in these shirts-I get a lot of looks from women and occasional compliments when i wear them

I enjoy the cool retro look of the shirts myself

The company website has site coupons that should bring you in under $50 per shirt if you buy more than one

I don't want to start a new thread because I think someone will be able to help me. How should a regular t shirt fit? Like how high should the sleeves rest on your arms? I bought a bunch, but I'm thinking they're to big for my pants. The sleeves are about an inch above my elbows but I hate wearing skin tight shirts and don't know how they'll look if I get a smaller size . I'm going to wear them with Levi's that aren't baggy or skin tight. Just regular fit. I think I'm so used to baggy clothes that I'm scared to get normal fitting shit..

I like my short sleeved shirts to go halfway down my bicep.

And for length I like them to go halfway down my ass.

Pretty much exactly like that dude in the picture except I never wear that ringer style t shirt.

Tommy Hilfiger do some nice ones, not sure on price off the top of my head.

Houston, the sleeve should not extend past the peak of your bicep, probably should end an inch or two before that. I just made that up, but it seems like a good guide. As for length, I like ones that just barely cover my belt. That's short by conventional standards. As for overall fit, the J crew shirt posted is a good guide,or slightly tighter especially for a night out.

Has anyone found good stretch tees? I have a mossimo one from Target, that's partly polyester but they seemed to have phased those out. I have two American Rag Cie tees, and one is a terrific stretch tee in a nice solid purple, and surprisingly 100% cotton.

I would highly recommend the Polos from Banana Republic. good colors and great fitting polos ($40-45). I'm 6'2 and 200 lbs and still I wear Medium sized polos. They fit my Shoulders and Chest perfectly and stop right below my belt and I get lots of compliments on my Physique when I wear them.

I live in polos when im not at work. Polos are one of those things where you get what you pay for. You would be better off with half a dozen (or even just one or two) good polos that fit than six dozen shitty polos that don't fit. Ralph Lauren and Brooks Brothers both make good polos and they make them in different cuts to fit your body type. I like Southern Tide too, but I'm around an atypically young/preppy crowd. They will cost you more than $50, but if you get the right size/cut and take care of them you won't need to replace them for a while.

I've tried lots of other polos and they all either lack quality or fit.

Bought a white tight muscle tee today, v neck but only slight with fake buttons. Good quality cotton. Only 12 euro.

Can't be bothered with expensive shirts at the moment for gaming, something always fucks up, loses.colour etc

I recently bought two plain one black and one white tshirts from Zara, wore the black one to a club and MAN!! it fit perfectly, looking EXACTLY as fit as the tshirt Chris Evans is wearing in this pic, except it's black. Also i have similar physique as him, but i'm taller.

they don't look fitted because their models are 120 lbs.

AA has an awful hipster rep because of their ridiculous shit they produce, but their standard basics are quality. the cotton is super soft and thin (perfect for a summer tee) and they fit long and slim.

live i've said in earlier posts, find a wholeseller on ebay and stock up on them.
