Yep, I got nailed by seafood in Goa.

I also ate something that gave me the shits on the way to Mumbai. I couldn't even wait to get to the damn hotel and had to stop at a gas station. I was running down the friggin street clenching my ass cheeks together and finally found a bathroom.

Deb, I wouldn't scrap the trip. I think the food poisoning came from mussels. I thought it was safe since a lot of brits were eating at the same place.

I ate a lot of fish with no problems. I don't remember what got me on the way to Mumbai. It could have been airplane food. haha

I ate a lot of Kingfish and some Pomfret.

There was a great restaraunt that just opened up back them (5 years ago). I think it is still there in Calangute. It was called Horizons or something like that. Best food I had there and I believe it is still there.

Hell, the locals enjoyed it.

Just be thankful that Ukrainian men are not in a position to travel too much, you wouldn't want to share any public transportation with these beasts. I have stopped shaking their hands and carry disinfectant, i've seen what they do with their hands in public.

Luckilly most stay in Ukraine, if they leave then they see what a human being looks like and get depressed. They have it much better in their own country, much hotter women than they deserve

haha, so true. Come to think of it. If you ever meet a bald Australian guy in Davao, early forties, fast sportscar. Do not hang out with this dude. The guy is a drugged up lunatic. We picked up and banged some girls but the guy is a maniac, i had to dump him at Matina and i took off with a girl. he Aussie was pissed of and drove away like a mental patient almost driving over a whole group of pinoys. The became angry with me afterwards and i had to salve the situation.

A certain category of British in Spain are the worse honestly, loud drunk and outright retarded. These are usual the low-middle class cheap Ryanair flights type.
You can find most of these wild savages in locations like Magaluf, Benidorm and Marbella easily recognisable by their chav accent and sun-burned skin. Apart from the smell of piss-taste-like local beer obviously.
For Americans that have never seen one specimen out in nature the closest thing is probably white trash in the states.

On the other hand Barcelona and Madrid seem to attract another type of British tourists, more well off and educated. Usually from London or South East England. Again you can recognise them from their accent and the way they behave (not walking bare feet while vomiting on the floor is a good clue).

WTF? Orthodox Jews barely travel as tourists. They're usually dragging around about 15 kids behind them, and never have any money for being a tourist.

Chinese, American, British and Turks are probably tops on my list. Chinese in particular are annoying as hell with the constant selfies in all the wrong places. I saw two Chinese teenagers climb over a railing in a national park once and almost fell off a cliff because they wanted to get a selfie pic without the fence. I laughed my ass off.

On the UIA flight I took from JFK to KBP, more than half the passengers were Jewish, with most being Orthodox or Ultra Orthodox Jews. It was miserable. There was also a Jewish tour group at the hotel I was staying in. They matched the stereotype of New Yorkers. Loud, whiny and a complete disregard for outsiders. Complete pricks.

I don't know if there's a single worst tourist, but there are some stereotypes.

1. The Asian tour groups with the leader of the group holding a big umbrella. These guys all have their IPads out snapping photos as fast as they can.

The thing about them is that they don't seem to actually be enjoying the places that they're looking at. It seems like their sole mission is to go to the tourist spot, snap a few quick photos and then move as quickly as possible to the next tourist spot.

I sometimes think to myself, why don't you guys just look at the pictures of these tourist spots on the internet if all you want is a fast photo? Most of the times I don't even see the groups going into the tourist attractions, just snapping pictures of it from the outside.

2. The drunk Brits that go on stag parties and just completely drain the life out of any place that they go to. Depending on where I'm at in the world, it kind of makes me embarrassed to be a Westerner like they are.

3. The fat and obnoxious Americans who won't shut the hell up about how nobody speaks English. These Americans are always dressed like slobs and are generally found in the walmarts back home.

4. The cunty American young 20 something year old girls who are just as bad as the Asian tourists when it comes to having to take selfies and pictures of every single place that they go to. They rarely go into the places that they take pictures of and certainly don't take the time to research what the history of the touristic place actually is. All they care about is what picture will get them the maximum amount of likes on their social media pages. These girls think that their shit doesn't stink and that they are the most wonderful and unique human beings on God's green earth.

5. The horny Mediterraneans who hit on everything that has a slit between their legs. These guys are generally from Spain or Italy, though the Portuguese or Greeks make an appearance every once in a while as well. It doesn't matter if the girl is big or small, short or tall, they do not discriminate and will spam approach in the nightclubs, partying like it's 1999.

6. The Australians, because for the life of me, I can not remember a single hostel that I have ever stayed at where I did not meet at least one Australian staying there. It's like that island does something to them, where they get cabin fever and just have to get away from the island for a little bit and go travel. For such a small population size, the Australians are over represented to such a degree on the hostel or backpacking circuits that you would think Australia would have a population of at least 75 million.

I say all of this in good fun and as an American who acknowledges that a subgroup of Americans are among the worlds worst tourists.

I hang out with 4 brits in Antioquia (colombia) and yes they were drunk bastards. But they were a fun bunch. Haha couldn't stop laughing at the goofy stuff and non-sense.

Haven't had any bad experiences so far as my town is just barely getting visited by tourists.

Based on my last trip to Thailand with the wife:

Mainland Chinese (Taiwanese, HK Chinese don't fall into this group)





I saw similar behavior in the Hong Kong airport trying to simply buy some gum (got an inflamed ear drum and gum helps relieve pressure when flying). Chinese were cutting in line, pushing people aside, screaming at each other, and other really shitty behavior. A Japanese dude behind me looked down, shook his head, and said to me, "ugg... Chinese". He had seen this many times before.
