Hey Guys,

I don't really do the online dating thing anymore but when I did, I used this initial message to an almost absurd degree of success. I would say 50-60% of the women I wrote to responded to me within 3 days. Easily.

I really debated on sharing this with others but if I ever decide to do the online deal again, I want to have to come up with something new. I've used this message literally thousands of times.

I stole it from an old David DeAngelo newsletter, very slightly reworded it and added a little personal message at the end.

Here you go:

So I was scanning through all these profiles thinking to myself, "Geez, all these lonely, poor, desperate women..." and then I saw your profile and thought, "Now here is a lonely, poor, desperate woman who is actually cute!"

So, I decided to write to you and see if you're actually as interesting as your profile and pictures would suggest...

(One to two sentence personal message or interesting tidbit with information gleaned from profile.)

Yes, I understand telling a woman she seems cute and interesting is beta but the "lonely, poor, desperate" line seems to disarm that concern. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten a response that said, "I don't know whether or not to take your message as a compliment...but you have definitely piqued my interest..."

I hope this gets some of you guys some action, because it has worked well for me.

I don't know man...

You might be a very good looking guy for these girls to give you a pass with a message like that.

If you look at el mechanico's POF thread, you have a lot of (undeserving) chicks on these websites having unrealistic expectations and inflated egos (from all the attention they get from thirsty guys) that the probability of even meeting them will be weighed heavily against you.

Pics of you and the girls on a date might give us a second look at your claims.
