USA now has declared March 10, 2012 US PASSPORT DAY!!! Get your passport without making an appointment!!

I'm still surprised that the U.S. doesn't fingerprint passport applicants.

MSW , Citizens who are naturalized after earning their citizenships do get fingerprinted as part of the naturalization process just before the Oath ceremony and after they get the Citizenshp certificate they can then apply for a Passport.

People who were born as US Citizens have there footmarks/fingerprints on their birth cirticates which is a record to submit when applying for a passport .

Has anyone gone to the passport office to chase ass? My bud worked for INS for years and got laid like a champ in Tampa. the office in Miami has a long line from what I hear outside.

I think Mechanico is on to something , I stood in line for 1.5 hrs at a passport acceptence facility and number closed a columbian girl who recently got naturalized, There were others in line too, everyone was in a jolly good mood , new US citizens ready to travel.......... There was another young girl (Salena Gomez loom a like) with her mommy, I stopped my efforts after finding out she was jailbait

Two more things...Anyone in the state of Florida who needs a fast passport has to go to the Miami office. Make friends with one of the agents. They know where the pockets of pussy live/work. Vietnamese girls you say? No problem. Go down to Pinellas park in between us 19 and 34th street. They know!!!!!!!!

This sounds like a big day to round up everybody's info. Get a whole lot of people in the system as fast as you can.

I'm skeptical.

Here in Bay Area this is a very stupid idea.
There is only one passport agency, and it is in SF. No parking and it is quite small. I was there two years ago, and I had an appointment and still waited an hour in line. Twice.
Now with my kids we went to the nearest passport agency which was in the USPS building. They require appointment but we just walked in with the papers and pictures. Took us 15 minutes total, and we got the passport in mail in three weeks or so.

So unless you need the passport urgenly (i.e. less than in two weeks), save your time and do not go to the agency.
