It's not a quantifiable attribute and a difficult concept to understand and convey. This is the reason it doesn't "sink in." And even when you do understand it, it's still difficult to achieve. It means accepting yourself, completely, for who are. Very difficult to do when so much of who we are is defined by external forces.

I messaged this girl on OKC, years ago. I wanted to go out with her and then read about myself. Also, I thought we might get drunk and fuck. She didn't reply.

I believe she was also 27 at that time. Could be mistaken, or maybe she's on some other planet's calendar.

I don't have any moral beef with what she's doing. She's clear and up front about it. All these guys knew she was a scorpion when they took her across the river.

I just think it's kind of a waste artistically. The honest, deep reaching, genuinely self-deprecating version of this blog would be fascinating. But she wants page views and stage shows and book deals and agents calling her. It doesn't read like something a human being actually thinks or feels.

Guess who's decided it's time to get off the cock carousel, put that whole attention-whoring thing in her past, and settle into (what's sounding like) a relationship.
