I believe that the terms beta and alpha male have been redefined and reworked beyond recognition.

But still, a castrated (beta) male is much less of a threat and does not impinge on the 'strong' & 'independent' view of how the world should be (in her image, of course). There are more and more females who prefer this type of complacent male. I see it in the US and EU all the time. esp among the 16-20 yo. crowd.

Of course anyone who's ever had any social interaction with women will know from direct experience that this article's conclusions are way off-base, but I found one part in particular that really shows just how twisted around the reasoning is:

There is definately a point where it can start to work against you. I find that I need to have a balance with msot women now, but its not alwasy easy to know where the ideal balance lies. Usually, the more experienced a woman is the more that she is receptive to nice guy game (due to her being damaged by assholes).

Young girls = direct / asshole game

Older women / damaged women = nice guy game mixed with enough directness to communciate that it's not your first rodeo.

These shitty articles about betas come only from the (flawed) assumption that the Beta is the 2nd most important member of the tribe (as implied by 2nd position in Greek alphabet) who gets to fuck all women whom the Alpha can't fuck, which is many of them. But it's not true. In reality, the top 10% alphas directly and indirectly hoard over half of quality women. The Beta male is left with nothing. We don't live in tribes. The Beta as these articles fantasize it to be would still be extremely Alpha in our world (think Charlie Sheen just after Silvio Berlusconi).

Alphas just comes across as narcissists. If your'e American and a natural Alpha... and want to do well in Europe, I'd probably tone it down a bit. Girls actually like nice guys over here.

I take everything the self proclaimed Alphas say on this board say with a pinch of salt. For example I think it's useful to remain distant from a girl until you are sure she likes you. Apart from that you are denying yourself any kind of human emotion.

I always believed in taking bits and pieces of anything I read and use it in a way that best suits me. I am not trying to win some "Alpha Man Of The Year" award. I am trying to bang chicks with as little money and little time spent while trying to maximize her looks.

As someone whose target group is more or less 26 to 38 I have found this to be true.

What works for me is to be strong alpha with some assholish mixed in for the first 30 min or so. This sparks her attraction and establishes your alpha cred.

After that mixing together nice guy with occasional flashes of alpha gives her the impression that she could have a relationship with you but that you would remain sexy and attractive to her i.e. not a pushover

I'm a big black dude so by default people assume that I'm alpha. A little too much. I find if I tone it down a touch, act a little beta around new chicks, it often works to my advantage. A little less big scary Old spice commercial guy and more new somewhat feminine Old Spice commercial guy.
