Seen this morning that Dont Bang Denmark popped up on a status report that belongs to a girl I know from Copenhagen.

The best part, she is making a fuss about women in CPH being "not feminine". Well, she is covered in tats, swears like a sailor and drinks, smokes and fucks like a dude.

One of her quotes:

They say they're trying to get a twitter interview with you. The coverage doesn't seem as aggressive as it was in Iceland; at least they put it into context saying Denmark is just one of many countries that have gotten the Roosh treatment.

I learned after Iceland not to do interviews with tabloid magazines.

I just did a live radio interview. After 10 minutes they cut me off (the producer was female) after I got into a groove about all the flaws of Danish women.

Hell, I'm learning not to do interviews at all!

Probably for the best, as every media figure you encounter is probably going to attempt to skewer you at every given opportunity.

It's good to keep up an aura of mystery, anyways. Sometimes that's the best publicity one can have.

Roosh should avoid outside interviews. He's better off controlling his own message, using his own words, with people unable to edit them into what they want for their own agenda. Any video response he makes is problematic --they'll still soundbite whatever he makes to their own sensationalistic agenda. Instead he's better off keeping to his own kingdom where he's king, he gets to call the shots, and he controls the edit button. All he should be doing is inviting the curious to his domain and pointing people to the original document which they can buy for themselves to understand his full, nuanced message. As the Talking Heads once wrote, "When I have nothing to say, my lips are sealed. Say something once, why say it again?"

Why should some newspaper get all the advertising revenue for carrying an excerpt of his book or an interview with him? He's better off writing his own responses and capturing the advertising hits revenue himself on his own web site, without a middleman taking a cut. Plus by directing them here has a much higher chance of converting the attention to actual book sales.

I doubt doing an interview will increase his site hits (and book sales) over what they already are. Nor if the server is teetering does he want to increase publicity at the moment.

The man is paid for his words. Why give them away free when anyone with $6.99 can read the full unedited version?

Does the interest level warrant having an audio book in Danish done of "Don't Bang Denmark"? My guess is they're just reading the free excerpts.

My favourite comment on that article by Peter S - it's got a lot of upvotes and positive comments.

Its a no-win situation whenever there is a conversion occurring where one party can pull the plug or clip the other. You need to make sure the interviewer is on common ground, something along the lines of Howard Stern would be ideal.
