I can't grow a full beard but just a light mustache & goatee which I cannot connect . Clean shaven seems to work the best for me. When I've sported the goatee women 30 & above check me out sometimes & are more interested in talking with me. The girls I am most interested in however tend to be more into me during the second day after I shaved with maybe as much interest during the 3rd day. I usually shave every 2-3 days.

Given a choice between the two options I would go clean shaven because i hate the feel of stubble.

This site makes an estimate of your age, gender, and mood. With or without the beard it says I'm 5 years younger than I am (which I also get IRL), but with the beard my face is more masculine and I don't look as disgruntled.

Stubble all the way. There are a few studies out there to show that women prefer Stubble over Clean Shaven and Clean Shaven over Beards. Rock the stubble.
