Hipsterism (Wearing bright colors, accessories with goofy proportions, and things that emphasize vulnerability) may mean you're a more interesting guy to smart chicks than the regulation "Hulk Smash" alpha.

In a country as wealthy as Murka, smart 7+ chicks mostly aren't even worrying about money, they think they're going to pampered the rest of their lives ( maybe not so true) so who's FUN is important.

You may not look like a money magnet, but Murkachix are beyond that in a lot of ways-- they've always had money, so they don't know or fear being without it.

The cool, slightly standoffish player dressed in minimalist ("regular") clothing may just strike these chicks as boring.

It's more about Who You Really Are here in my estimation, as the harsh environment punishes those who fall for players more quickly and cruelly; for instance getting pregnant without a dedicated male sounds horrifying based on the economy here.

Like being dressed super eccentric weird makes you fun. If you have met such guys, you know they are mostly tryhard for attention and really not fun, kinda annoying.

I'm not sure about that. Like I said these guys are getting dressed up all the time. That's not the point though. Hipsters have a circle of slutty women orbiting around them. Another friend of mine who lives in Tucson is my age 42 and only hangs out with girls around 18 to 25. If you see his place it looks like it's halloween everyday. They ride around to bars on bicycles dressed like ghosts or vampires every Tuesday. I've been on that ride with them many times. Also some other girls do tightrope walking at the park every sunday morning and drink mushroom tea. It ends up being a gathering that goes into the night.

My problem is that I want to kill them after a few minutes. I'm sitting at a table and two times girls asked me for a smoke. I pulled a pack out and handed them one and the response was.."Ohh I only smoke organic" Shit like that pisses me off but those dudes are dialed in for it and know the drill.

I'm going to take a run at the coffee house this week and see what I could do. I was instructed to wear a boy band t-shirt or something ironic

Ok I just went to the hipster coffee house for a ice coffee and some recon. This dude works there that I know and he told me that they were thinking about opening the empty place next door to sell beer and wine.

The other dude told me that they don't have ice coffee and gave me a lesson on how to get some there. I had to say Americano over ice with cream.

I'm sitting here right now contemplating doing it myself then selling the place after I get my fill of ass and make some cash.

Yeah- there are a lot of contradictions that I've noticed. Like, what makes something intrinsically cool? Hipsters get into trends and act like the trends are solid/timeless good taste. Also, the "I'm not really affected by anything" attitude is taken very seriously. "I dress like a clown, but I'm a high status person, etc."

A clear form of peacocking- It can get girls thinking "Wow, is this guy famous or rich? Who does he know? Can he get me famous?"

I still think hipsterism is mostly fashion choices, and for a guy who isn't in the scene, then it's about pulling a wolf in sheep's clothing thing. This guy has a book on hipster fashions and how they came to be. He goes into great detail on everything from cut of pants to facial hair styles.

We can debate the definition of alpha all we want but really what it comes down to is not giving a fuck, confidence and going for the pussy w/ no hesitation. These guys have it down to a science, but you'd never tell by looking at them.

Some of the greatest players I've ever known were hipsters. If you don't have a couple of hipster friends, you won't be able to comprehend this. These guys started to mop up more pussy in my high school than the football players. Real fuckin talk. They didn't give a shit, were really into their music/band/whatever and wore clothes that looked like they were from urban outfitters (but they weren't, that would be uncool).

Their lifestyles appealed to girls in a deep way. Not giving a fuck, doing whatever they wanted, drugs, raves, etc. There are hordes of brainy experimental chicks who provide these guys vagine. A lot of these bros are actually 'alpha', while looking like total pussies. It's hilarious. I give them props though.

Thinking about some of the hipsters I know, and I get called hipster myself depending on what I'm wearing, but there is a wide range in performance with females. One of the best players I know is a hipster, but in his same group of friends there are guys that are completely unable to pull.

I think we are making the mistake of generalizations. Its like when some loser joins the football team because the most popular guys in the school play. There are hipsters that rake in pussy, and there are ones that get laid once every two years. And yeah, in generally being associated with anything hip or cool with girls in their 20s is going to bring them to you regardless of your age.

It's clear from those pictures that these guys have tremendous game.

They've got confident, aloof body language. The asian guy draws all the focus to his crotch in that daytime picture.

The way they are dressing is punk/hipster making fun of everything.

What's most important here is that it's clear that they are creating a vibe or experience and girls are getting swept away by it like a whirlwind. That's real game. You become a rollercoaster and the girl doesn't have time to think about what she's doing; the hamster can't outrun it's own wheel.
