I rarely achieve climax during most sexual encounters, even with extremely attractive women. I'm also late 40s and I think the idea that guys nutting means you're losing lifeforce is BS. If you go forever and don't nut you're basically blue-balling yourself. By all means make it last, but if you're not able to nut you've got an issue of some kind.

BTW, there are studies that show that women actually want sex to last shorter than you'd imagine. It's not the duration that matters, per se. It's the intensity and variety. Women can and do get bored if a guy is just pumping away repetitively with no end in sight.

Death gripping during masturbation can and does reduce sensitivity. Good news is that you can restore sensitivity by not jerking off, takes about 3 weeks for noticeable change. One nut is enough for me nowadays. When I was younger 2 was the minimum. From my experience girls seem to get tired after 2. Pushing for 3rd at 4AM is a chore for her no matter how much she likes you. At the same time if you can't nut at all, like OP said, they get self conscious because they think they're not attractive enough.

At 54, I fail to cum about 1/3 of the time. I really prefer to cum every time. Most times, I find it is best to go at least two days between fucking, to maximize my chances of cumming. Of course, this means no fap as well. It's funny because I have no problem if I do fap, and I can finish 2-3 times a day if I want. However, with actual sex, it's harder to finish.

It's true that if I can't cum, then I can pound them for a long time, and change positions and everything else. However, if I can cum, it's usually under 10 minutes. I can get in a few positions in that time, but if I start getting ready to cum, I don't try to hold it off. I go for it. If I try to hold it off, I often find I don't get another chance.

It's kind of a relief to know it's more common than I realized.

Improve the quality of your women and/or quit porn/masturbation because you're desensitized. Guys saying they're "cool" with this sorry state of affairs is like women saying they're "cool" faking orgasms because they think they aren't very orgasmic. It's a far cry from where it could be whether you realize it or not.
