It is pretty sad to not have one unbiased news source in a country of 318 million people. Media outlets are just tools the rich, powerful, and elite use to control what the people think.

Even so, you do have some influential resistance like Breitbart and Fox (cuckservative for sure, but they do provide a different perspective at least). Imagine what it's like in a country of 4 million people where Soros/Rothschild can control all public opinion with what amounts to a rounding error.

The monthly inflation and unemployment statistics have been fake for decades. The methodology has been changed numerous times - in every single instance leading to lower figures than would have otherwise been the case. Who really believes that unemployment in the US is less than 5%?

The faked inflation figures automatically mean that economic growth figures are fake. For example, if the economy grows in nominal Terms by say 5% and Inflation is ssumed to be 3%, then real growth comes in at about 2% (5-3). If Inflation is however really 6%, then real growth is -1% (5-6).

I agree with John Williams, though in terms of growth - the inflation numbers are correct when you take into account the real economic activity of the bottom 95%, since inflation hits them disproportionately, thus in your example they actually get a -1% growth. As for the top 5%, there may even be a plus of 7%.

Cannot find the vid, but there was even a big ratings chief who came out on CNBC TV and said that the employment numbers are so fake, that he would risk his life if he started to talk about the real numbers there.

The top people are of course closest to the money spigot at the Fed, the BoE and the ECB. They get the new money first and invest it before it loses value. By the time the plebs get their Hands on it it has been devalued.

I always knew the media was biased, but I thought the reporting was real and commentary biased.

Then there was the George Zimmerman recording where the states that the intruder (Trayvon was black) but the media edited out that the police ASKED the race of the intruder.

On March 27, the “Today Show” would air audio of a 911 call that they had maliciously edited.

Here is what NBC broadcast:

Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. He looks black.

Here is the actual conversation:

Zimmerman: This guy looks like he’s up to no good. Or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.

Dispatcher: OK, and this guy — is he black, white or Hispanic?

Zimmerman: He looks black.

After the fraudulent editing was discovered (first by Breitbart News), NBC News issued a full retraction and fired a number of the producers involved.

Once a story is flagged, it can’t be made into an ad and promoted, either.

Informed Sharing
We’re always looking to improve News Feed by listening to what the community is telling us. We’ve found that if reading an article makes people significantly less likely to share it, that may be a sign that a story has misled people in some way. We’re going to test incorporating this signal into ranking, specifically for articles that are outliers, where people who read the article are significantly less likely to share it.

Disrupting Financial Incentives for Spammers
We’ve found that a lot of fake news is financially motivated. Spammers make money by masquerading as well-known news organizations, and posting hoaxes that get people to visit to their sites, which are often mostly ads. So we’re doing several things to reduce the financial incentives. On the buying side we’ve eliminated the ability to spoof domains, which will reduce the prevalence of sites that pretend to be real publications. On the publisher side, we are analyzing publisher sites to detect where policy enforcement actions might be necessary.

It’s important to us that the stories you see on Facebook are authentic and meaningful. We’re excited about this progress, but we know there’s more to be done. We’re going to keep working on this problem for as long as it takes to get it right
