Very interesting presentation, and I agree with its findings.

Last time I hit a slump, I got rid of porn/jerking for a month to help kick-start my way out of it. It worked and I've never gone back to the same level of use because I recognize how destructive it can be.

That wasn't even the first time I tried this experiment. Back before when I knew fuck all about women and game I would try to go without for a month or so and every time I ended up dating and banging a pretty hot chick.

I think quitting works on a lot of different levels. Increased motivation, increased social awareness, increased horniness, etc.

I can never get past five days. I've honestly tried a bunch of times.

Around day 4-5 I see significant differences. Its like women can just sense the raging hormones inside of you. Its all sub-communicated through body-language I'm sure.

Days 7-10 are supposed to be the craziest. My lack of motivation and lack of physical escalation could improve even more if I held out for at least a week. I'm finally going to make it a week this week!

Meh.

I jerk it twice a day (usually only once with porn-my imagination is good enough to get by without it if I want). I just don't feel so many of these dramatic side effects I keep hearing about regarding masturbation and "no-fap" philosophy. I've had periods where I've not been able to jerk off for anywhere from several days to a couple of weeks, and I honestly do not feel that much better than any other time.

Perhaps this is just because I have particularly high testosterone levels-I have no problem maintaining an attraction and a desire to pursue women I come across even with two ejaculations a day. It isn't doing any noticeable harm to my relationships.

Maybe this is because I don't watch a lot of the fantasized/mainstream porn. I do not pay much mind to name-brand pornstars from big companies and movies that consist of fake girls on designed movie sets with absurd amounts of makeup and a whole lot of faked/angled positions and moans designed for the camera. I look occasionally if I really am into the particular pornstar, but I just can't get off on the lack of authenticity very often, so I avoid it. 90% of the videos I look at are amateur or non-western (usually has a more amateur feel than mainstream Euro/American porn).

It isn't hard to maintain attraction for real girls you see everyday when the porn you're watching largely consists of real girls. Maybe that would help some guys having trouble with that.

Regardless, I hope whatever you guys decide on helps. I just can't empathize too much having not seen this problem myself, and I'm honestly a touch skeptical of it, but to each their own.

I think I might be addicted to the internet... Not to porn necessarily. I am thinking of giving up porn completely.

I have noticed that too much porn kills my drive to go out and seek women or push for sex when it's not a sure thing and it also makes sex less satisfying... At the moment I try to only watch porn shortly after having sex because I don't want to it to stop my drive for or pleasure in actually achieving sex.

I remember the most caveman I ever went in a sexual interaction (including literally picking a girl up and walking her to the cab.. getting to her house.. doing an unintentional freezeout before I knew the move had a name.. and having sex with her) and one of the most satisfying orgasms I had ever had.. was after going many many days of making out and dancing with girls with no closing .. no access to porn or privacy to jack it due to traveling in hostels.. The girl was chubbier than girls I would hit on today due to my higher standards that I now have and it gives me no ego boost to think that I got with her but very often I recollect on how amazing that sex was, how powerful that orgasm was... Man, fuck, now I am having sex too often to simulate that "blue ball, wanting it so bad and finally, finally getting it" feeling... I am worried my libido has dropped and I am not even old.

I am going to see how long I can go without jacking off (to porn or to anything else) starting today. Maybe I'll see if I can go 60 days and then re-evaluate once I'm there.. Does watching porn but not jerking it have a negative effect? I wonder.

It will be interesting to see the effects of this. On one hand, my stamina might go down. Or I might have a higher sex drive that I put into fucking more girls, more often and harder/better..

I just failed a couple of days ago on Day 8. I've got to say, it is pretty crazy. I don't even really consider myself addicted, but it's amazing how weird your body will get if you try to break a comfort zone.

Obviously I'm going to try again. It is like taking drugs and getting weird effects without getting the drugs. Awesome.

Good luck with making it a week. You can do it.

This comes from Taoist practice. Unfortunately for this guy and those of you who believed him, Taoists maintain that ANY ejaculation leads to the loss of life power. It doesn't matter if you come in your hand or in someone's vagina.
