I find it more convenient having a keyboard to type on. Also, my phone(Windows) uses a tinder clone called Timber, which has stopped working after an update. I much prefer using tinder on my laptop now.

When Tinder+ was rolled out, I happened to have set my FB age to <30 so when I did decide to check out the paid version, it only cost me £2.29 through iTunes.

Now that my age is back to over 30, the repeat billing keeps the low as opposed to £15/ month for over 30s.

I'd like to restart my Tinder profile but my question is, 'Will I lose the £2.29 per month deal?'

Now that I've rolled out my new photos and bio (see BlurredSevens thread for detailed breakdown of upgrade) I'm gonna be hitting Tinder on four fronts:

I'll delete my account so I can get back all those cards I've swiped through and get a second chance.
I'm on Windows Phone so I have free and discrete (i.e.: doesn't say you're doing it) pipelining to places I'm interested in visiting to see how it works in places other than DC.
Will employ some of the hints I was told at Tinder HQ when I visited when considering whether to take the internship offer or not.
Will use some new openers that seem effective on OKC and from here.

It's rather odd.. I would sit on dozens of matches back a couple years back. Now I've been lucky to get 3 as far as I can tell. I'm a good looking guy with interesting pictures, and tall. How the heck does this work? It's an easy 10 fold decrease.

I recently got an Iphone and thought I'd try it on there to see if it made a diff.

When I was on it before, I frequently reacted like this to profiles I saw.


Now I swipe left 100 times per 1 right swipe.

Thanks for the tip. I've been on POF and OkCupid for years and always use it on the computer though I do have the app on my phone. I'm seeing these new apps like Blendr, Tinder, Mixxxer are going the route of an instagram having ONLY an online app and you can't access from a computer so this is an awesome tip as I also enjoy having a keyboard and some of these sites aren't really coded welland really don't even work on phones that good.

Quality of matches have decreased. I used a bot prior and still have incremental matches flowing in gradually from before the shakedown.

A couple of months back I routinely got 5-6's now I am getting 3's-4's.

The decline is unmistakable and has come.

Are you matched alot? I havn't been on Tinder for that long but I pretty much go through liking everyone just for the sake of saving time so would expect some matches even if they are 3's and 4's. Also, I'm not a bad looking dude and normally do pretty well on dating sites. I think I've been matched with like 3 people 2 of whom have been crossdressing dudes.

I think so. I haven't tried myself though.

I can log out of tinder and theoretically should be able to log in with a different account.

You'd have to delete your facebook account off your iphone, and link it to a different one. I didn't do it because it's a pain.

I'm not getting any local matches any more. Of course when I move my GPS I get matched with 8s and 9s in places like Stockholm and St Petersburg.

As Tinder favours new accounts in an area, I plan to delete Tinder from my FB and phone and then rejoin as a fresh user.

This morning after getting out of Tinder jail I resumed my swiping and so far out of about 100 or so like I've only gotten two matches, neither of whom I'm particularly crazy about. I used to do pretty well on Tinder but it's definitely slim pickings now....

Tinder might have just made it easier to sniff out SIFs, today's update includes showing the last 34 pictures from their insta-whore account.

Agreed. I am swiping to the limit every day and getting hardly any new matches and the ones I'm getting aren't great.
